Kashmir & Ladakh Are Covered In A Carpet Of Snow & People Are Calling It A Winter Wonderland


The year 2020 has been one of the longest years, though if we look back at it, none of us can believe that 10 months of this year has already passed by. Winters are almost around the corner and this was the time when solo travelers got in the vibe of exploring the unexplored spots covered in beautiful white snow.

While many of us are abstaining from traveling anywhere at all, some people who live in our country are enjoying the beautiful weather. Jammu & Kashmir recently experienced the first snow of the season and it looks beautiful. According to the report, the mercury dropped to its lowest in Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pir Ki Gali, and is now covered with fresh new snow.

Now, the residents who reside in the area have flooded the internet with beautiful images of fresh snow fairyland which looks just like heaven.

Not only this, it’s snowing in Ladakh too and Drass which is the second coldest inhabited place in the world is also covered in thick snow.

“If the snowfall continues for the next few hours, we will be forced to stop traffic on the highway as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident due to slippery conditions,” a government official said.
