It might come as a surprise to you but our beloved ‘Thalaiva’ is not someone who prefers to be in the limelight or be in the headlines for something other than his movies. But, for the past one year, he has become very interactive with the public and we are glad because his fans finally got the opportunity to meet him after a long gap of 8 years.

The ‘Kabali’ star addressed his fans in Chennai today, and if sources are to be believed, he will continue meeting them in small groups over a period of four days. “The invitation has been sent to his fan clubs. It will be a photo opportunity with Thalaiva, and contrary to reports he won’t be addressing his fans. Since he has met them in a long time, he has finally decided to spend a few hours with them,” a source close to the actor said.

Rajinikanth even clarified rumours about him joining politics and said that the parties have asked for his support, but he doesn’t support anyone or back any political party. Over a thousand fans came to meet him at Chennai’s Raghavendra Mandapam. He also spoke about how his films ‘Kabali’ and ‘Enthiran’ were hits but ‘Kochadaiyaan’ and ‘Lingaa’ couldn’t do too well at the box office. This honesty as an actor is what makes the fans go crazy for him.

Rajinikanth is all set to wow us with his upcoming movie ‘Robot 2.0’ along with actor Akshay Kumar and will also be shooting for a Tamil film with ‘Kabali’ director Pa Ranjith.
