London-Returned Doctor Buys 'Aladdin Ka Chirag', Ends Up Getting Duped Of Rs 2.5 Crores

Sometimes, a person can be so freaking smart yet so dumb at the same time. We would expect a doctor to be way smarter than say, an average person, but looks like knowledge doesn't stop someone from being made a fool.

In a bizarre turn of events, a doctor was duped out of Rs 2.5 Crores on the pretence of being sold an Aladdin Ka Chirag. Yep, a man of science paid that much money for a magical lamp.

Hmm, looks like greed does make people give up any kind of belief that they have.

Basically, London-returned Dr Laeek Khan filed a complaint against two "tantriks" and alleged that they sold him Aladdin Ka Chirag in Meerut and promised him that a genie would make all his wishes come true.

Looks like the story dates back to 2018, when he started frequently visiting his patient Sameena at her home for dressing following her surgery.

There, the doctor met Islamuddin, a tantrik who boasted about his magical powers and promised to make him a billionaire.

After that, the said tantrik and his friend promised the doctor an Aladdin ka Chirag and even went as far as to show him a jinn appearing from the lamp! Full points for creativity and getting that dramatic effect.

When he asked to take the lamp home, they warned him that touching it would bring bad luck. Well, the doc soon managed to figure out that the genie was none other than Islamuddin himself, who is actually Sameena's husband.

What a twist, so shocked that a genie doesn't exist for real!

Well, thankfully, the two culprits have been arrested, and let's hope the doctor gets back the money he lost.
