Pakistan's Imam-Ul-Haq Becomes A Laughing Stock After Comical Run-Out Against Zimbabwe

After months of hiatus owing to the global pandemic, the cricketing action is back to cheer billions of its fans across the globe.

Amongst the tournaments currently in progress, the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has got everyone on their toes. From 'Super Over' finishes, record-breaking hundreds and brilliant bowling feats, IPL 2020 is busy keeping us all entertained.

But, while everyone is glued to the IPL this season, a quite bizarre incident occurred far away from the glitz of the T20 tournament. An ODI contest between Pakistan and Zimbabwe saw a comical run-out which involved the likes of Imam-ul-Haq and Haris Sohail.

In the 26th over of Pakistan's innings, Imam guided the ball towards the backward point as Sohail, at the non-striker's end, set off for a quick single.

Reacting to his partner's call, Imam, too, took a few steps down the track before realising he won't make it at the other end. As Imam returned back to his crease, Sohail kept running and the two batsmen eventually reached the same end.

The video of the hilarious run-out was shared on social media and has garnered all sorts of reactions from fans.

Inshallah.. Boys ran well..!
