Biden is leading with 264 electoral votes out of the 270 required for victory, while Trump is trailing with 214, according to the Associated Press. The votes are still being counted in Arizona, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, and Nevada.Β

Trump prematurely declared victory early Wednesday and threatened to seek Supreme Court intervention to stop vote-counting. It surely has backfired thogh. Following which, Trump said, "We think there'll be a lot of litigation because we can't have an election stolen like this."Β Β 

Biden, for his part, has said he expects to win the election, and also added that "Each ballot must be counted."
