If you’re an animal lover, you’d resonate with the fact that most of us make strong relationships with animals and legit have conversations with them. Many of us are attached to stray animals and meet them at random spots almost every day. Also, while meeting and feeding these little strangers every day without realizing we tend to make a strong bond with them. And none of us can imagine losing them!

Recently, UP police gave a respectful burial to a dog whom the officers often met at a tea stall in Meerut.

In the video, you can see a group of officers carrying the dead dog for his burial. The group of police officers look sad and heartbroken about losing their friend.

Stray Dogs India’s official Instagram handle took to Instagram to share the sad news along with a caption saying, “Rakesh was an indie dog who would hang near a chaiwala on the street in Meerut where the police officers used to come to have their chai, that's how they got to know Rakesh and started looking after him. He was not keeping well and succumbed to some health issues yesterday, he was given a respectful burial by UP Police.”
