Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, finally broke his silence on the ongoing protests in Delhi, which is apparently being seen as one of the largest protests in history.
Farmers have been protesting against the new farm laws for months, and even took the protest to the capital with the Chalo Dilli protest.

All this time, people have been asking PM Modi to address the farmers and make a statement about the protest that is currently going on and the day has finally come.
At an event at Kutch in Gujarat, he accused the Opposition of “misleading farmers” and “shooting from their shoulders” to attack the government.
He said, "A conspiracy is going on around Delhi to confuse farmers. They are being scared that after the new Agri reforms the land of farmers will be occupied by others. Tell me, if a dairy has a contract of collecting milk from you, do they take away your cattle too?"

— ANI (@ANI) December 15, 2020It's safe to say people seem to be rather unhappy with PM Modi's statement and are showing their dissatisfaction on Twitter.
Conspiracy?
Old tactics of BJP to call protest, a conspiracy.
Farmers of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab are protesting to save their land and for written assurance on MSP.
PM, HM said in many rallies -MSP increased 1.5 times
Why Govt is not ready to write??https://t.co/0oHUY2lsQf
Yes, actually talking to the farmers might help.
Sir talk to the farmers n take questions from them, what is the use of putting up a speech show like some kasauti zindagi Ki tv serial? https://t.co/LEAoB0kkOv
— kashif Qureshi (@kashiflion) December 15, 2020People just want him to talk to the farmers straight-up.
Why are you being afraid to come forward and have a chat with farmers?
First your Govt told there are no flaws, after that agreed to amendments? What was that?
And Also wanna remind you as per constitution of India, Agriculture is State matter not Central: Jaspreet in Fbd, HR https://t.co/ZeyAq1FIdr

Okay then.
Leaving his official residence, that’s bang in the middle of Delhi, and flying all the way to Gujarat to address the protesting farmers in, wait for it, Delhi. This is not someone who’s willing to engage in a meaningful conversation https://t.co/jc1cjGHpUh
