Wasim Jaffer’s Ingenious ‘Hidden Message’ In Tweet To Rahane Has Fans Crushing Over His Brain

Ever since the beginning of the Test series between India and Australia, former Team India batsman and one of the biggest names in domestic cricket, Wasim Jaffer has become a Twitter Lord with his witty humour and brilliant insight of the game.

Days ahead of the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Jaffer wrote a tweet to the acting captain of the team, Ajinkya Rahane, while mentioning that there was a hidden message inside.

Check out Jaffer’s tweet:

Dear @ajinkyarahane88, here's a (hidden) message for you. Good luck for Boxing Day!

In Cricket Know Grief In Life Lingers Aplenty Never Dabble Rise And Handcraft Unique Legacy PS: you guys are open to have a go and decode the msg too,” he wrote.

Now, at a first glance, the tweet appears to be that of motivation and consolidation, as if Jaffer is trying to lift Rahane’s spirits following the beating his side took in the first Test in Adelaide.

However, when you only look at the first letter of every word that he wrote vertically, it decodes as “PICK GILL AND RAHUL”.

Much like the most of the fans of the Indian cricket team, Jaffer is also suggesting that the team should pick Shubman Gill in place of Prithvi Shaw and bring KL Rahul back to the roster in place of Virat Kohli who is returning to India on paternity leave.

People of Twitter have been marvelling at Jaffer’s brilliance ever since:

That's very smart of you. There are 2 key men in the management and the man who is drunk will never decode this message.
