There's one thing that will always remain constant in the world and that is the Sikh community going above and beyond to help anyone in need. We've seen that happen for years and they've never let people go hungry if they can do something about it.
Khalsa Aid is one of the biggest initiatives in helping people which is literally spread across the world. After the borders closed in the UK, a lot of lorry drivers were left stranded. Of course, Khalsa AId came to their aid.
Amazing stuff @Khalsa_Aid always there where needed most https://t.co/052nDFnZ4c

Preparing over 800 hot meals of chhole chawal, they made sure no one went hungry during such a difficult time. And, can I just say that the food looks amazing and it's incredible how they managed to do that in just three hours.
How did the UK's Sikh community respond after hundreds of transport trucks were stranded on the roadway due to border closures?
By making 800 hot meals in a few hours and delivering them personally to the drivers. pic.twitter.com/7ObE9Y5hAa
Volunteers came together at Guru Nanak Darbar, a Gurudwara in Gravesend, UK to prepare the food and then Kent Police helped in getting everything to the drivers.

— ravinder singh (@RaviSinghKA) December 22, 2020 People are appreciating their efforts while shading their government.Oh I expect that the Government will already have food and drink and toilet supplies being organised. Whoops, sorry, not this Government, obvs.
This Government doesn't feed poor kids, it's not going to feed truck drivers!
Replies under this post tells how sikhs are being acknowledged across the globe, thanks to @RaviSinghKA @Khalsa_Aid https://t.co/aVPDK0hp7s

— Karen Houghton (@smashingkaren) December 22, 2020 Full props to them.Whilst some say “so what, they are mostly EU drivers anyway”, proper Brits get out and help those in need. Thank you to all who have come to the aid of stranded truckers, you are the best of Britain. https://t.co/nYTfZZHKZU
— Andy Conway Morris 🧼🇬🇧🇪🇺 (@andymoz78) December 22, 2020 Exactly.I’m not surprised... one of the most generous spirited cultures I’ve ever met.Sikhs values of honesty, compassion, generosity, humility, integrity, service, and spirituality on a daily basis. Sikh respect the welfare for all.@sikhchannel https://t.co/ds77DUCGjo
— Sue Arnold (@haselour) December 22, 2020 An inspiration, for sure.Yet again the hospitality and generosity of the Sikh community is an inspiration to us all. A little light in the darkness. https://t.co/w2FxtJkqGT
— Andy Wilkes (@Fr_AWilkes) December 22, 2020 Unfortunately. This is great. This pandemic has shown that there are lots of lovely, empathetic, caring people in the world. Unfortunately, none of them are in charge of running the country. https://t.co/7y3xfNPICw
