Let me start by telling you that I’m the “lazy one” in my family so you can expect some easy hacks to make your New Year’s Eve—warm, cosy and special!
It was the urgency of making the morning of 1st January feel good and different that inspired me to work on how I spent the last day of the year. The result was a series of comforting activities which are now an NYE tradition in our house.
New Year’s Eve Celebration With FamilyMuch like most Indian parents, my sweetest mommy and daddy have their ways of calling me home on special occasions. No matter where I was—college, school or on a trip—I had to be home for new year’s eve, even if it meant all of us sitting in one room, watching award shows and sleeping before the clock hits 12.
We could, of course, plan a family trip but the elders in the family preferred not to leave home empty on NYE.
So, here’s what I did:
