WATCH: How ‘Mastermind’ Mohammed Siraj’s ‘Four-Ball Plan’ Got Cameron Green's Wicket In A Hurry

The Indian bowling attack led by Jasprit Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin dominated the Australian on Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test as the hosts were bundled up for 195 in the first innings.

And while Bumrah looked like a veteran leader of Indian pace and Ashwin went on to do ‘Ashwin-things’, there was one man who impressed everyone with his debut on the field - Mohammed Siraj.

Taking two crucial wickets for Ajinkya Rahane’s side, especially when the team needed it the most to have a big impact, Siraj delivered with excellent precision.

Removing the ever-so-lucky Marnus Labuschagne in the 50th over of the innings, Siraj’s strategic brilliance was commended when he orchestrated the dismissal of Cameron Green with a four-ball plan.

Plotting to remove Green from the pitch in a hurry, Siraj bowled three consecutive short-pitched balls and that moved away from the batsman after the bounce, making Green feel less and less relaxed about getting bowled.

On the fourth ball, Siraj switched things up and bowled into the batsman’s legs, catching him by surprise. A sharp swing in the ball towards the stumps and the only thing between the two forces was Green’s pad.

Siraj’s LBW appeal didn’t take long for the umpire to respond and Green had to go back to the dressing room amazed and with his head shaking.

Cricket Australia shared a video of how well Siraj executed his plans to trap Green. "Out, out, out, in. Well bowled, Siraj," they captioned the video.

Out, out, out, in.

Well bowled, Siraj
