PM Nawaz to inaugurate first unit of Sahiwal Coal Power Project today

SAHIWAL: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate first 660 MW unit of the Sahiwal Coal Power Project on Thursday.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said this during a meeting with a Chinese delegation of Huaneng Group in Lahore on Wednesday.
According to Radio Pakistan, the delegation also included the Chinese team members working on the power Project.
Shehbaz Sharif felicitated the Chinese delegation on completion of the project ahead of the time frame.
The Chinese delegation told the Chief Minister that the 660 MW second Unit of the Sahiwal Coal Power Plant will also start generating power shortly.
