Ahead of the third Test match between India and England at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium, there were many international cricket experts who believed that whoever won the toss would dominate the match from the very beginning.
So, when the coin flipped in favour of England skipper Joe Root and he chose to bat, it was an idea that England would go on to play a massive first innings and leave the hosts with a huge total to chase.
Where is @KP24 today? Win the toss, bat first guy? What happened? 112 all out followed by "You cannot do it, Ben Stokes" moment. Frustrated lot of red-cheeks #INDVSENG

However, by the end of the second session of the day, the situation looked completely different as England had been wrapped for a mere 112 runs by the Indian spinners, behind an exceptional 6/38 outing with the ball by local-hero Axar Patel.

Following the early collapse of Root’s batting order, Sehwag dug deep in his meme-bag and brought out the classic ‘Rahul Gandhi meme’ to bid adieu to the disappointing first innings of the touring side.

How indian players sees this stadium. Vs How England players are seeing this stadium.

Like the way In old days India team was not able to play in bouncy pitches..
Once the Indian bowlers did some early and significant damage to England’s hopes of winning the third Test, it was time for the batsmen to prove their mettle on a pitch which, without a doubt, has shown a lot of variation since the first ball of the day.
An early fall by Shubman Gill, followed by a duck-out for Test veteran Cheteshwar Pujara had the Indian fans a bit worried but then skipper Virat Kohli walked onto the pitch and established a decent 64-run partnership with Rohit Sharma.
View this post on InstagramAfter a shocking pitch-invader incident Kohli, could not manage to stick to the crease till the end of the final session and gave up with his wicket to English spinner Jack Leach for 27 runs of 58 deliveries.
Ahead of Day 2 of the third Test, India trail by 13 runs with Sharma batting at an unbeaten 57 with the Team India deputy in-command Ajinkya Rahane by his side with a solitary run in his pocket.
