Well, this was expected.
The moment Washington Sundar missed his precious century in the fourth Test between India and England in Ahmedabad, we all knew a certain someone was not going to be very pleased.
Yes, we are talking about Washington Sundar’s father, who has expressed his abject disappointment at the way things turned out for his son, even though India comfortably won the Test series 3-1, by an innings and 25 runs.

This is not the first time that Sundar’s father has been miffed with his son missing out on an elusive ton.
Earlier this year in January, Sundar scored 62 in his maiden Test innings at Brisbane in the Test against Australia, and his father stated that Sundar should have been more aggressive once the wickets stated tumbling.
"I am disappointed he did not get a 100. When Siraj came, he should have hit fours and sixes. He is capable of that. He should have gone for sixes. He could have gone for pulls and big hits. Perhaps, he thought of trying to come close to Australia's total, as the deficit was very less," Mr M Sundar had told IANS.
