A continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country on Monday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

A westerly wave is expected to enter upper parts of the country today and likely to persist during the next 2-3 days.

Hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in the next twenty-four hours the PMD forecasted, while very hot weather conditions are expected over plain areas of Punjab, KP, and upper Sindh.

However, dust, thunderstorm, and rain with gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, upper FATA, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
