As expected, the smartphone has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and has a 12-MP camera with f/1.7 aperture lens. The front facing camera has a 5-MP module with f/2.0 aperture lens for better selfie photography. The smartphone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 626 chipset under the hood with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card up to 256 GB.

The Moto Z2 Play has a USB type-C port and has support for USB 3.1 which translates to faster data transfer and charging speed. The device has a 3,000 mAh battery capacity and runs Android Nougat out of the box.  The smartphone also has FM radio support which is a breath of fresh air since most smartphones tend to ignore the feature as online streaming has taken over.
