When it comes to being the children of famous celebrities, it is never too easy to live a normal life, not in India at least, and especially not when you are the daughter of the most iconic cricketer to have played for the country.

Sara Tendulkar, who is the 23-year old daughter of the legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, has grown up amid unparalleled fame, and media attention.

In the era of social media running wild in the country and people having nothing else to do but take pot-shots at each other, especially due to the coronavirus lockdown, such celebrity kids often become prey to online trolling for no reason at all.

For Sara, one such incident took place on Friday when she simply shared a picture of herself enjoying a cup of coffee on her Instagram Stories when one of these trolls decided to ‘teach her a lesson’ about not living off his dad’s money.

“Wasting fathers money,” she wrote as a reply to Sara’s image, expecting to simply get some weird kind of fun out of it, without realising that she just might receive a response.

Sara not only replied to the troll’s comment but did so while sharing the screenshot of her chat and tagging her account in the picture as well.

“Umm… Any money spent on caffeine is money well spent, not wasted LOL (whoever’s it may be)” she wrote cheekily while giving it back to the troll. “Shrutzfits” has since deactivated her Instagram account.

Fans of the Indian ‘master blaster’ not only empathised with Sara for being targeted for being a star kid but also applauded her for standing for herself and not giving the trolls the satisfaction they yearn for so much.

Sara’s dad, Sachin Tendulkar was recently found to be Covid-19 positive after he returned home from the Road Safely World Series tournament and was hopitalised for a few days “as a matter of abundant precaution” but is now back home and recovering from the virus in isolation.
