Staying in on a Saturday night will age you. Not physically, but like in a total I-am-a-millennial-and-I-am-turning-vegan-next-week kinda way. In a I’ll-choke-you-with-perfectly-lit-pizza-and-chill-photos kinda way. What we are trying to say is that staying in on a weekend will induce FOMO of the highest order. And the only way to stay in, is to devote oneself to the interwebs, and browse aimlessly. Or if you are anything like me, by listening to podcasts about the dark web. Or by watching Dr. Pimple Popper on YouTube—Fascinating!

Whatever, your interests maybe, Saturday nights are for research and must be devoted to enriching one’s Pokemon knowledge, and watching reruns of ancient Pokemon episodes. Like the very first episode, when Ash Ketchum is late to choose his Pokemon and ends up miraculously with a moody Pikachu! Damn, that episode aired almost 20-years-ago, way back when in 1997. I’ve been a hardcore Pokemon fan ever since, so much so that I have always wanted a few Pokemons of my own. And, judge me all you want but I’m not ashamed to admit it.

But after playing with free Pokemon Tazos—all thanks to the ever-so-humble packet of classic salted Uncle Chips—I’m so disheartened by Pokemon Go—that I’ve never managed to download the app. Or Play it. Or try it out on a friend’s phone. The reason? The nostalgia of Pokemon is so huge, that anything that threatens to ruin is, is immediately blocked. Ugh!
