A performer is a performer, in sickness or in health. And some actors have actually proved this by showing utmost dedication to the roles they play. 

We have heard stories of actors shooting with injuries, fractures and bad health. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of them.

However, this isn’t a fluke. He shows an incredible commitment to his role even while he is seriously ill and hospitalised. We are not making this up. 

The director of the movie Raman Raghav 2.0 once recalled how Nawaz couldn’t stop chanting the lines from the movie even while on the hospital bed.

“He was on high fever and his wife called me, ‘What have you done to him? He's just talking non-stop, lines from the movie' and I got scared, he was really affected by it. He becomes like that. He likes to live there, he likes to stay there, he actually prefers that world, he escapes into that world,” he added.

The film did quite well at the Box Office and Siddiqui’s performance was lauded by the critics. Safe to say, hard work and dedication paid off.
