Arjun Kapoor and Neena Gupta’s movie Sardar Ka Grandson follows the journey of a US-returned grandson (Arjun) who leaves no stone unturned to fulfill his grandmother's wish. It’s a very different concept wherein the grandmother requests the grandson to take her to her ancestral home in Lahore as she had spent her younger days in the neighbouring country. When Arjun doesn’t get permission to take Sardar to Lahore, he decides to move the ancestral home to Amritsar.

Well, the critics didn’t approve of the film as they found it sloppy and didn’t find the movie worth investing time in but the audiences are of a different viewpoint. They are calling it a family entertainer and are loving the concept of the movie. They are recommending the movie because it’s a film that is light-hearted and is spreading love and positivity in such testing times.
