Radhe Villain Sangay On Film’s Negative Review Says ‘Salman Sir Makes Money For Producers’

Radhe actor Sangay Tsheltrim who played the henchman Lota in the film recently commented on the negative reviews the film has received from the critics. The film has also been heavily trolled by people on the internet.

In a recent interview with Indianexpress.com, Sangay said, “The film clocked 4.2 million views on day one, that’s a record in itself. How does a lakh or two trolls matter then?"

He added, "Whatever may happen, Salman sir makes money for the producers and entertains his fans. That’s what is important. I also have people in Bhutan, who tried to punch me down, saying that I have a minuscule role. However, they fail to see the bigger picture. I have learned from the megastar Salman Khan to not let these things affect oneself.”

Sangay was an army officer in Bhutan before he took voluntary retirement and joined the entertainment industry. He also expressed that he met Salman by chance and was welcomed with open arms by the actor.

Radhe was released on Eid and starred Salman Khan in the lead role. It has also become the actor’s lowest-rated film on IMDb with a score of 1.7/10.

Salman Khan also recently said in an interview, “Now, at the age of 55-56, I am doing what I used to do at the age of 14-15. That's because the young generation has Tiger Shroff. Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Aayush Sharma are coming now so we will have to work harder."

He also expressed how the audience appreciates hard work on screen.

"Which film will work? Which film will be a flop? People see it as a 9-5 job. I have taken it as a 24x7 job. I just work. That's all I want to do. If a film flops, I work harder. I realized that when you put your blood and sweat into something and give your best, the audience understands your hard work. And it appreciates it, too," he added.
