Becoming an influential couple in the world of Indian cricket has to be one of the most tricky tasks ever. 

TV presenter and the wife of Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah Sanjana Ganesan shared a picture of her conversation with Dinesh Karthik from Day 3 of the World Test Championship finals but the response she got from the fans was more about Bumrah than her.

This isn’t the first or the most famous incident in which the cricketer’s spouse has been blamed for the lack of form shown by a cricketer and has been trolled and judged on social media just because their husbands struggled to score big runs or take big wickets.

Actor and the wife of Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma has been living in this toxic world for over a couple of years during which if the Indian skipper failed to put up enough numbers, it felt like a field day for the actor.

For instance, check out this comment by a random Twitter user who got Sharma involved in a sarcastic criticism towards Kohli, who got out for a duck during a five-match series against England back in 2014. The reason why this particular incident is so special is that Sharma was not even in the United Kingdom for this match and still got dragged into all this.

In the first innings of the World Test Championship finals, Bumrah did struggle a little bit on either side of the pitch and was visibly anxious in the middle. After going wicketless and being one of the more expensive bowlers for Kohli, Bumrah’s dismissal on the golden duck brought him insult to injury.
