If you don’t walk out of the cinema hall feeling moved by the performance of an actor you’ve just spent 2 hours watching on the screen, only to come back home, play their songs and channel them in your dance moves, are you even a fan? 

Mimicking your favourite actor, which often comes rather naturally to most of us, went hilariously wrong for a man who even though looked like the mighty South superstar Rajinikanth.

A video that has gone viral captured a Rajinikanth lookalike trying to entertain the audience by performing a stunt, however, the man in the video ended up making a fool out of himself after he fell hilariously as the stunt went wrong and he landed on his butt. 

Dressed in a crisp black suit, a white tucked-in shirt and a white beard that did actually make you wonder for a second if this was the real Thalaiva, the man was winning the hearts of the audience with his confidence and candour up until he decided to perform a little stunt with a plastic chair kept behind him. 

As soon as the man kicked the chair, hoping to make it swing like Rajinikanth does in his several movies, his foot instead got stuck in the plastic back of the chair, making him fall right down as the people broke into laughter. 

Guess they figured out, he wasn’t the real Rajnikanth after all...

The video that was posted on Instagram has garnered hundreds of likes and comments since then, as people call him a ‘sasta copy’ of actor Rajnikanth and share their hilarious reactions to the video. 

One user wrote, “Yeh to rajnigandha nikle”, while another one wrote, “Kya rajnikant banega re tu.” 

One fan also wrote, “Not everyone can become Rajinikanth ;-)”, and we couldn’t agree enough with him.
