Rafique while addressing a ceremony at the Child Protection Bureau said that that the way to secure votes is to serve people. He criticised both Imran Khan and Bilawal Bhutto, calling the latter a ?paratrooper?.
The minister also said that the Bahawalpur incident, in which 157 people died, should not be politicised, adding that Punjab has six functional burns unit.
Meanwhile State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali claimed that the Joint Investigation Team, assigned by the Supreme Court to probe the prime minister?s financial dealing abroad, has made itself controversial.
?Has the murderer identified by Aziz Baloch before the JIT been arrested,? asked Ali.
The minister asked what transpired after a JIT probed Pakistan Peoples Party?s Dr Asim, Sharjeel Memon as well as Ayyan Ali.
