Swara Bhasker has probably now become good at ignoring trolls completely because the hate she has invited this time because of her tweet is on a different level. We all know that Afghanistan’s Kabul has been taken over by the Taliban and it’s disturbing to see the visuals coming in from the country.

Swara, however, is under the radar of trolls after she tweeted, “We can't be okay with Hindutva terror & be all shocked & devastated at Taliban terror & We can't be chill with #Taliban terror and then be all indignant about #Hindutva terror! Our humanitarian & ethical values should not be based on the identity of the oppressor or oppressed.”

Following her tweet, things escalated quickly and Swara is now in trouble after a Twitter user Ashutosh J Dubey said he had filed a police complaint against the Raanjhanaa actress for "promoting enmity between several groups on grounds of religion & doing acts prejudicial to the maintenance of peace."

Soon after the tweet started to get traction, people started to bash her and even #ArrestSwaraBhasker started to trend. They even called her a fake intellectual and an anti-national.

Well, she did rephrase her tweet but the damage was already done. She said, “Let me rephrase! The #Taliban doesn’t deserve our nuance .. notwithstanding American Imperialism which is wrong and must be critiqued. But the Taliban does not deserve nuance. Recognize their many many evils and wrongdoings!”
