The mine baron Gali Janardhan Reddy’s daughter’s wedding which took place on November 16 was something worth witnessing. The guest list consisted of 50,000 guests and the ceremony was evidently lavish AF.
This garish affair attracted criticism from anti-corruption activists. Bengaluru-based advocate T. Narasimha Murthy has filed a complaint with the Directorate-General of Income Tax. Mr. Murthy, who alleged massive tax evasion by Mr. Reddy, wants to know his source of income and the funding for the marriage.
Just to give you the overview, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru where the wedding took place was decorated as the famous Hampi city. From carriage processions to Brazilian dancers, this wedding had it all.
