LAHORE: The body of a male domestic help was recovered from a Member of Provincial Assembly's (MPA) house late Tuesday night here in Akbari Mandi area, Geo News reported.

Akhtar's dead body was found in the home of MPA Shahjehan, who belongs to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). In addition, the domestic help's sister ? Atia ? was also discovered in an injured state, allegedly bearing torture marks, police added.

A case ? on the behalf of victim Akhtar's father ? has been registered with the police against Shahjehan's daughter Fauzia for murder under clause 302. However, the house has been locked, with the MPA and her daughter seemingly on the run.

In this regard, relevant teams have been sent out to search for and arrest Fauzia, police officials explained.

The victim's sister Atia, on the other hand, has been released from the hospital after medical treatment, police stated.
