    There is a throwback video interview of Aishwarya Rai BachchanΒ from the mid-’00s that has surfaced online. In the video, the former Miss World has proved why is an absolute queen when it comes to sharp retorts.Β Β 
    In the clip, which is of around one minute in length, a journalist can be seen attempting to get controversial answers from Aishwarya as he first asks her about her equation with Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. To which Aishwarya responds, β€œYou enjoy all this drama”.Β Β

    He further asks the actress about the films where she was replaced. Like a boss lady, Aishwarya reminds the journalist that the producer apologised to her after this and the media was kept in the loop about it by her team. So, he knows about it already.Β Β 

    He then asked her about the rumours if she is the next Bond girl. Aishwarya further bashed him saying the media is already aware of it for over a year and a half.Β 
    Not being able to get any controversial answer from Aishwarya, the journalist finally asks her about the β€œlatest sunshine” in her life, a pet dog.Β

    Rolling her eyes, Aishwarya stated that the dog has been with her for over two years now. So, it’s not that he is the latest sunshine in her life.Β 

    The journo then interrupts asking if the dog was given to her by Vivek Oberoi. Aishwarya then gives it back to him by saying, β€œWhy don’t you just wait for an autobiography…”

    West Indies wicketkeeper-batter Nicholas Pooran was one of the most expensive signings at the just-concluded IPL 2022 mega auction.
    Despite having an average season with Punjab Kings (PBKS) last year, the southpaw benefited a great deal from his massive reputation as franchises ignored everything and broke their bank to sign him.

    His old franchise PBKS showed no interest in acquiring his services but it didn’t matter as three former IPL champions Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and SunRisers Hyderabad were involved in a huge bidding war.

    The 26-year-old was eventually picked up by 2016 IPL champions SRH who splurged a whopping Rs 10.75 crore, making him the most expensive West Indian at this auction.

    Christmas came early for the left-handed batter and he decided to celebrate the bumper deal with his West Indies teammates inside the team hotel.

    Going out was not an option for Pooran and his teammates who are currently living inside a strict bio-bubble in Kolkata. Not just that, even outside food wasn’t allowed inside the team hotel.

    There was no way he was going to stop these restrictions from celebrating the massive occasion with his teammates. So, he decided to throw a pizza party for his teammates and ordered a total of 15 pizzas, which cost him around Rs 15,000.

    β€œSince outside food is not allowed he placed the order at the hotel chef for 15 pizzas. There were a total of 15 pizza boxes and everything was sanitised before being delivered to the room. The player had to make the payment,” the local manager told PTI.

    Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiwadi, featuring Alia Bhatt in the titular role, is among the most-awaited films of 2022. Also featuring Ajay Devgn, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles, the movie is scheduled to hit the big screens on February 25 and fans are eagerly waiting to watch it. While the trailer has received an amazing response, the family members of Gangubai, her purported adopted son Babu Raoji Shah and granddaughter Bharti, aren't happy with the makers.Β

    After Babu Raoji Shah filed a petition against the film, a Mumbai court summoned Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia Bhatt last year.Β However, the Bombay High Court later refused to stay Gangubai Kathiawadi release. Not only that, but the criminal defamation proceedings against the film's creators were also put on hold for the time being. The case is currently on hold.Β 
    Now, talking to AajTak.in about his mother's portrayal in the film, Shah said, "My mother has been turned into a prostitute. People are now saying inexplicable things about my mother".Β 
    Reportedly, Gangubai's family members have been in shock ever since the makers released the film’s trailer. Revealing the same, Narendra, Gangubai's family lawyer, shared, "The way Gangubai was portrayed is completely wrong and baseless. It is vulgar. You are representing a social activist as a prostitute. Which family would like it? You have made her [Gangubai] a vamp and lady don".Β

    Meanwhile, reacting to Gangubai's 'vulgar' portrayal on-screen, her granddaughter Bharti says, "The makers have defamed my family out of greed for money. It cannot be accepted. You did not ask for the family's consent before going ahead with the project. You did not come to us while writing the book, nor did you seek our permission before making the film".Β 
    She added, "We used to proudly narrate the stories of our grandmother. But, after the trailer was released, people have been calling to tell us how she is being portrayed as a prostitute. My grandmother has worked for the upliftment of the *** workers there throughout her life. What have these people turned my grandmother into".Β

    For the unversed, the film is based on one of the chapters from Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Alia plays Gangubai, a gun-wielding brothel owner who was one of the most loved, powerful, and revered in Kamathipura during the 1960s. Gangubai, who was sold into prostitution at an early age, reportedly rose to prominence in the city, with some of the most prominent criminals as her clients.

    Former India cricketer Atul Wassan believes that Rohit Sharma, India's white-ball captain, should have spoken out in favour of Virat KohliΒ much sooner as rumours of a rift appeared. Rohit Sharma, India's white-ball captain, fired at the media on Tuesday in support of Virat Kohli and said β€œIf you guys (journalists) can keep it quiet for a while, everything will fall into place.”
    Wassan spoke to ANI about this and said that Sharma’s response should have happened sooner since there have been unsubstantiated whispers in the Indian dressing room and camp that there is a breach between Rohit and Virat.

    He went on to say that every player has challenges, but it doesn't mean they attempt to perform and under-perform when another captain is in charge. When Bishan Singh Bedi fought Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev fought Sunil Gavaskar, this was done in the past. These people are now experts in their field. They interact with one another, compete with one another, and have fun.
