He not only bagged a BAFTA nomination for his wonderful work but everyone is recognising his insane talent, which means we get to see him work in some more big projects soonest. The actor took to his social media today and left his fans in some baffled state. He shared a reel which documents his body transformation journey, and boy, that looks like a lot of hard work! Harnaaz Sandhu made India proud by winning the title of Miss Universe 2021. The next stop for her seems to be= Bollywood.

She said in a previous interview, “I’d love to be a part of not just Bollywood but Hollywood too, through that I’d love to break the stereotypes. I think 21st-century people get inspired by movies and web series, so I’d like to inspire people and try to talk about the issues that should be eradicated from society.”

Now, in another recent interview with TOI, she named the actor who she would like to be her co-star in her first film. And, it’s none other than the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan.

We aren’t surprised since every aspiring actor wants to work with him. We would have been surprised if it was anyone else but King Khan.

She said, “I have mentioned this before, I share a lot of respect and love for Shah Rukh Khan. The amount of hard work he has done and is still doing, it's never enough I think. But he has always stayed grounded, he has always managed the success. And the way he has been talking in every interview, that really inspired me, that it's just about your attitude that takes you places. He is a wonderful artist and a wonderful human being.”

In today’s episode of things that hurt more than a breakup, here is a man who stood for contested in the Gujarat Panchayat elections and lost terribly.
However, that’s not the sad part.
The sad part of the story is that he just got one vote, when he had 12 voters in his family itself.

A man named Santosh Halpati had stood in the village elections for the post of the Sarpanch in the Chhawla village of Vapi district in Gujarat.

Even if he did not expect to win with flying colours, he most definitely would have expected at least 12 votes since there were that many people in his own family who were eligible to vote.
However, he was deeply hurt and shocked when the results of the poll came out.

He found out that he had just got one vote. Hold your sympathies just yet. Wait till you hear who the one vote is from.

    It’s his own.
Not a single person in the village or his family voted for him and the only vote he got was his own. That’s gotta hurt.

He was apparently so hurt from his family not voting for him that he broke down at the poll centre itself.

He said while he doesn’t mind the rest of the villagers not voting for him, he didn’t expect his own family to do him wrong like that.
The fact that not a single person in his family had confidence and trust in him was really disheartening for him.

Elections for 8,686 village panchayats in Gujarat were held on Sunday and results for 6,481 villages were declared last night. “Elections come and go,” Santosh told India Today. "But I got just one vote.. even my family did not vote for me," he added.

Santosh’s family of 12 members, including his wife, apparently either didn’t vote or went against him and voted for other candidates. In either case, it is truly heartbreaking.

‘Don ka intezaar toh gyarah mulkon ki police kar rahi hai, lekin Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai’, a dialogue that even though was etched into our hearts with the image of Amitabh Bachchan, made a different kind of an impact when it was delivered by Shah Rukh Khan in the remake of Don in 2006.
A movie that kept us on our toes and gave us an equally exciting sequel Don 2 in 2011, today completed 10 long years since the day it was released. And taking a walk down the memory lane over the same was actor, director and producer Farhan Akhtar, who holds this movie rather closely to his heart.

Penning down a beautiful and heart touching note as Don 2 completed 10 years, Farhan shared one of the first scenes of the movie in a video and wrote, “10 years since Don cruised back onto screen and gave bad guys a lesson in how to be the baddest of them all.”

He then went on to laud the acting of Shah Rukh Khan by expressing just what all he brought to the film when he came along.
Farhan wrote, “@iamsrk only YOU could bring this level of cool to him. Absolutely loved making this film and this opening sequence in particular, which would set the tone for what’s to follow."

He continued to write, “To the stellar cast who made it happen every day on set To the incredible crew who brought their A game to every department they headed or worked in.. To an awesome action team for delivering the grit and bite the film needed To a dedicated and detailed post production crew To my production team that worked tirelessly behind the scenes.. To our collaborators & friends in Berlin without whom it would have been an impossible task My deepest gratitude. Thank you. Miss you Om-ji #10yearsofDon2."

Not missing out on Priyanka Chopra who played a pivotal role in the series as she donned the role of ‘Roma’, Farhan gave a shout out to PeeCee on his Instagram story as he wrote, “Go straight ahead and rock Hollywood @priyankachopra Thank you for Roma."

Priyanka Chopra is currently awaiting the release of The Matrix Resurrections while Farhan Akhtar is going to be seen directing 'Jee Le Zara' which stars Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka in lead roles.
