Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami’s estranged wife Hasin Jahan was heavily criticised for sharing a video on Instagram of her daughter Aairah dancing to a song while tossing a shirt with her hands.
It is merely a couple of seconds of video but was enough for the critics to jump in the comments section and start bashing her for “making a kid do all these things”.

Hasin Jahan, who is an actor, dancer, and a model, according to her Instagram bio, has over 135 thousand followers on her profile which is famous for the pictures she shared from various photoshoots that she has had in the past.
Mohammed Shami - Hasin Jahan CaseA couple of years ago, every fan of the Indian cricket team began to read headlines about Hasin Jahan accusing Shami of infidelity, having a romantic relationship with another woman, domestic violence, attempt of murder and cruelty to her.

— ANI (@ANI) September 3, 2019 The chargesheet had been filed under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code - relating to a woman being subjected to cruelty by her husband or his family - by the detective branch of Kolkata Police this March.
"The police chargesheet says there was no attempt to murder, no poisoning - all serious charges filed by Hasin Jahan," Rahman said. "Also the allegations against (Jahan's) mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law of conspiring against her were discharged [dismissed] by the police," Shami’s lawyer had said back in 2019.

No allegations were proven in court and as a result Shami was reinstated in the Indian cricket team with his contract with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) given back to him without any changes made.
Ever since, Shami and his wife have been living separate lives but haven’t gotten a divorce.
View this post on InstagramIn terms of Mohammed Shami and his cricketing career, the pacer had himself a brilliant second Test against England at London’s Lord’s cricket ground earlier this month. However as the series moved to Leeds, his fortunes haven’t looked the same.
One of the most efficient bowlers for Virat Kohli’s side in the second Test, Shami has been smashed for 39 runs in 11 overs with an economy of 3.55 in the first innings of the third Test, making him the second most expensive bowler on the team behind Ishant Sharma.

India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has been in the spotlight ever since he returned home after winning a gold medal at Tokyo Olympics.
While he is loving all the adulation that he is getting from his fellow countrymen, there have been several incidents which made him rather uncomfortable.
© Reuters
From people talking about his looks more than his performance, certain women making him feel awkward with their dance, people labelling him a ‘Sanghi’ to even criticising his choice of clothing, the 23-year-old athlete has handled everything with great maturity, defying his young age.

Until now, he has taken everything in his stride but he broke his silence after what he said about Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem earlier was being taken out of context by some people.
Clearing the air around the whole incident, Neeraj requested everyone not to use his words to “further their vested interests and propaganda”.
He even posted a video message explaining how javelin throwers go about their business during any event. In the end, he urged everyone to learn about the rules of the sport before forming an opinion.
I would request everyone to please not use me and my comments as a medium to further your vested interests and propaganda.
Sports teaches us to be together and united. I'm extremely disappointed to see some of the reactions from the public on my recent comments.

“I would request everyone to please not use me and my comments as a medium to further your vested interests and propaganda. Sports teaches us to be together and united. I'm extremely disappointed to see some of the reactions from the public on my recent comments,” Neeraj Tweeted.
— Neeraj Chopra (@Neeraj_chopra1) August 26, 2021
In the video, Neeraj further explained that all the javelin throwers put their spears at one place and as per the rules, athletes are free to make their throws using any of the javelins.

“I was searching for my javelin at the start of the final (in Olympics). I was not able to find it. Suddenly, I saw Arshad Nadeem was moving around with my javelin. Then I told him. ‘Bhai give this javelin to me, it is my javelin! I have to throw it’. He gave it back to me. That’s why you must have seen I took my first throw hurriedly,” Chopra told The Times of India in an exclusive interview.

Unlike cricket, javelin throw is a niche sport in our country and not many people are aware of its rules and regulations. So, the lack of awareness also played a major role in his comments being taken out of context.
Having said that, some people did use his comments to portray the Pakistani javelin thrower in a bad light and make him a villain.
This video will go down in history as evidence of Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem stealing the javelin of Neeraj Chopra at #Tokyo2020.
Neeraj's first throw could have been better if this shameful incident didn't happen.

— Anshul Saxena (@AskAnshul) August 25, 2021Neeraj Chopra on Arshad nadeem, no wonder our liberals wanted nadeem to win because they always side with the corrupt ones! pic.twitter.com/swWJREdb4Q
— अंकित जैन (@indiantweeter) August 25, 2021Why did Arshad Nadeem take away Neeraj Chopra's javelin during the Olympics finals just before his throw? pic.twitter.com/qt27hitFV9
— Arun Pudur (@arunpudur) August 25, 2021 We should not forget that sports has the power to bring people together. It teaches us to rise above our petty differences and stay united for the love of the game.
Let’s not use it to spread hatred and fuel animosity.

Bollywood can’t do horror. It just can't. Their idea of a good scare is people dressed in weird clothes, horrible makeup and even weirder sound effects. However, it does one hell of a job at making people fear for their lives with their crime movies and sadistic characters who are psychopath killers.
© Phantom Films
Bollywood movies based on ruthless murderers and serial killers have scarred us more than those desi aatmas and chudails ever could.
There are some terrifying killers shown in movies who can give nightmares to the even bravest of souls.
© Vishesh Films
Here are the 6 most khatarnak psychopaths and serial killers from Bollywood movies that scare the sh*t out of us even today:
1. Rakesh Mahadkar (Ek Villain) © Balaji Motion Pictures
Rakesh appears to be a normal guy who has an unappreciative wife who always taunts him. However, you soon stop feeling sorry for him and are terrorised to see him mercilessly killing every woman who is rude to him.
He murders women as a way to let out his frustration with his unhappy wife who he loves.
2. Dheeraj Pandey (Murder 2) © Vishesh Films
He is one of the most terrifying psychopath killers in cinema believed to be inspired by a South Korean serial killer and *** offender.
He calls hookers over and kills them and has a history of torturing women. Think it doesn’t get more disturbing than this. Oh, it does!
He castrates himself to become a eunuch and worships the devil.
3. Lajja Shankar Pandey (Sangharsh) © Vishesh Films
This religious fanatic abducted innocent children and sacrificed them at the shrine of the goddess for immortality.
Every 90s kid was (and is still) traumatised seeing Ashutosh Rana in that red saree ululating in the middle of the street. Chills!
4. Ma’am (Kaun?) © Kshitij Production Combines
Major spoiler alert! Urmila Matondkar is shown as the scared, timid young woman whose name isn’t revealed in the movie but is referred to as Ma’am.
It keeps us on the edge of our seats thinking she is about to get murdered by the ‘serial killer’ on the loose (probably Manoj Bajpayee).
However, SHE is revealed to be the psychotic killer. It was the scariest thing ever!
5. Gokul Pandit (Dushman) © Vishesh Films
Another sadistic character played by Ashutosh Rana, Gokul Pandit in Dushman, is a psychopath killer who rapes and kills women.
He brutally murders Sonia Sehgal (Kajol) which remains to be the most disturbing scene till date.
6. Ramanna (Raman Raghav 2.0) © Phantom Films
Inspired by real-life serial killer Raman Raghav who was on a killing spree for three years in Mumbai during the 1950s, Ramanna, in the movie, also kills people with a sharp object like a hammer or tyre iron.
The fact that it is based on a real killer makes him even scarier.

Pooja Bedi who has been known to be an anti-vaxxer, has been rather outspoken about her opinion on vaccination on social media. She questioned why unvaccinated people are not allowed in public places as vaccination doesn’t come with any guarantee of protecting one from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier, Pooja had said that this discrimination was illogical and tweeted, “Why aren't unvaccinated [people] allowed in malls/local trains/offices? Especially if being fully vaccinated is NO guarantee 4 not getting/spreading covid? If "danger" is only the alleged severity of infection shouldn't that be an individual choice? Discrimination is illogical!”
She had also said, “Prior to vaccine 99% of those infected survived covid. Post vaccine the stats remain the same. Why the hysteria/ pressure about vaccination? The discrimination towards the unvaccinated?& What about #vaccineSideEffects No compensation after forcing them to #Vaccinate ??? #COVID.”

People started bashing her as they found her spreading misinformation via a baseless tweet. One of the Twitter users wrote, “Pooja if we had to hear half-baked, half-assessed arguments against #CovidVaccine, we will log in to our Whatsapp groups. Do us a favour, please shut up @poojabeditweets."
Here are the reactions:

Pooja also got in trouble when she shared her images and videos from her trip. She had also asked people to not live in fear of COVID. “Joys of living in healthy, happy #goa. Free your mind #NoFear Life is meant to be lived... not spent caged and masked for a year/ years in fear of a virus that's clearly not going away! If you died tomorrow after a year of masking/lockdown.. what would ur greatest regret be?" she wrote in an old tweet.

Actor Swara Bhasker recently shared pictures from the ‘griha pravesh’ ceremony at her new house. Her house underwent a makeover. Swara revealed that she didn’t stay at this house since 2019.
Swara tweeted on Thursday, "The Gods have approved!" She also added the hashtags 'Griha Pravesh' and 'New Old House' and 'New Beginnings'. She also posted eight pictures from the puja where she sat next to the pandit.
Check out the post here-

— Swara Bhasker (@ReallySwara) August 26, 2021
The picture showed Swara with a goofy expression on her face and in the next picture, she looked more serious. Earlier, she had written in a post saying, "Moving back into my new ‘old’ house after 2.5 years! 1st night in my own house after Feb 2019 feels gratifying & blessed! The world, all our lives, my life have changed with the pandemic & loss.. & yet there is so much to be grateful for & cherish! Goodnight peeps. Finally!”
Swara also kept on sharing pictures when the house was under renovation and now that she has moved in the new house, she also revealed her favourite spot in the house.

In an interview with HT last year, Swara said, "No society in Mumbai was ready to rent a house to two single girls, one of whom was trying to get into the film industry. They asked us, ‘Will you be meeting boys?’ We said ‘yes’. I even got into fights with a few landlords who were being very kattar (staunch). I started explaining to them our fundamental rights – Article 19 of the Indian Constitution. Our broker said, ‘Madam, if you want to do all this, go find a house somewhere else, I can’t help you’. We eventually found a house in a building that wasn’t a part of society. It was new construction and there were not a lot of occupants. That’s how I got my first house," she mentioned narrating the story.

When Baahubali became a gigantic hit across the globe and shattered box offices not just in India but conquered so many countries across continents, Prabhas’ superstar status elevated to new heights. From Bollywood producers knocking his doors to TV shows requesting interviews from a usually private celebrity, everyone was talking about how good he looks and how well he acts. His fandom touched a point where people joked about how he was still single and not married.
View this post on Instagram
Cut to 2021, when the Pandemic life has slowed down everything in the world and the film industry is slowly trying to get back on its feet, Prabhas has been travelling to Mumbai for his next big movie opposite Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh.
Adipurush, which is inspired by and based on the Ramayana, will be simultaneously released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. The actors are busy prepping for the film and recently the paparazzi managed to click a few of his pictures while he was driving with Kriti in the front seat. What one might assume to be a lively glimpse of the star for his fans turned into a fat-shaming party after he started getting trolled for his weight gain. Not only this, many people were ruthless and insensitive to the point where they asked him to step out in make-up and called him a vada pav and a milkman .

Trolling anyone, be it a celebrity or any human for that matter, is extremely pathetic. It is sad and obnoxious that the fans who shower their favourite actors with love and accolades, later decide to troll them if they gain weight or just look different from how they did while shooting for a movie. One doesn’t know that celebs have to be flexible and changing their body dynamics for a role requires a lot of hard work and resilience. What is sadder is the fact that celebrity image pages on social media sometimes unknowingly promote this trolling by creating a picture out of these comments like the one above. Thankfully some people were quick to call this culture out.

Such kind of insensitivity needs to be discouraged as negativity has a way of affecting the best of us.
