    Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has been in the headlines of late for all the wrong reasons. He has been arrested for his major involvement in a case related to the alleged creation of pornographic films and publishing them through mobile apps. Kundra and 10 others have been taken into custody for the same.
    Raj Kundra has been booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292, and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of IPC besides relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.

    Now, his lawyer Abad Ponda, while defending his client Raj Kundra has made an argument in court that the content that was published on the app can be tagged as vulgar and not porn. He said, “The IT Act sections can't be read with IPC sections, but here the police have done this. Section 67A of the IT Act talks about sexually explicit acts. Only the actual... intercourse can be considered porn. Rest all is just vulgar content.”

    He further added, “Police is following what web series are doing these days - vulgar content. But that's not really classified as porn. Nothing in this remand shows that two people actually indulged in [an] act of intercourse. If it's not actual intercourse, it's not classified as porn.” 

    He also questioned the arrest of Raj Kundra and said, “Police custody should be an exception and not a norm. Arrest should be made only when the investigation cannot move further without the arrest. In this case, the accused was made to join the investigation once he was arrested. The arrest wasn't made as per law.” 
    The nine people arrested before Raj Kundra’s name popped up in the case include TV actress Gehna Vashisht, Yasmin R. Khan, Monu Joshi, Pratibha Nalavade, M. Atif Ahmed, Dipankar P. Khasnavis, Bhanusurya Thakur, Tanvir Hashmi, and Umesh Kamath who is the producer looking after the operations of ‘Hotshots’ in India. 
    People have bashed the lawyer on social media and called his statements ‘utter nonsense.’

    Less than two weeks before the start of the opening Test against England, Virat Kohli and Co received good news as wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant joined the Indian team after recovering from COVID-19.
    Pant had tested for the dreaded virus on July 8 and was put in mandatory isolation for at least 10 days, as per the local guidelines. 
    Although he tested positive for COVID-19, he hadn’t developed any symptoms and his progress was being closely monitored by the BCCI medical team.

    In their absence, KL Rahul played as a wicket-keeper and went on to score a fighting century, helping Team India post a respectable first innings total after a shaky start.

    Ever since the beginning of time, a lot has been spoken about rules and stereotypes. But as people are evolving and becoming aware of their surroundings, they are now protesting against such inhibitions. 

    Recently, a group of boys decided to wear skirts to school to decry the double-standard on how society views men and women. 
    Clothes indeed have no gender, and hence, these students came forward to support the battle for gender equality.

    While this was one incident, in another news, very recently, a group of 10th-grade students in the UK stood against the strict dress code of their school. 

    After being told they could not wear shorts and had to continue wearing trousers, they decided to protest and wore skirts instead amid the ongoing heatwave. 
    This comes from Cornwall, where the people have been fighting the scorching heat, and due to the 'heat alert' as issued by the Met office, these students wanted to steer clear of wearing trousers.

    Pupil Adrian Cop and some of his friends decided to find a loophole in the school policy and noticed that there is nothing written against wearing skirts, and it doesn't assign any gender. 

    Hence, Adrian and his friends donned skirts and started a movement against the school's policy.

    Since Adrian didn't find a skirt, he asked his mother for it and wore a pleated skirt to school along with his schoolmates, Scott Penman and Connor Humphries. Even his mother didn't criticise him, instead, she backed him and got him an Asda skirt. 

    These teenagers who decided to continue wearing skirts for a week said, "I found it a lot cooler definitely. It's really uncomfortable wearing trousers in this heat. It was a mixed bag. Some teachers thought we were messing about. But there were others who cheered us on."
    He also added that they were removed from classes and were asked not to socialise for the next 24 hours but were let go as the teachers could not find anything valid to pin on.
    Adrian mentioned that they haven't broken any rules and wore skirts only to prove that wearing shorts amid the heatwave is not bad for girls and boys, both. 
    Donna, Adrian's mother, also supported his son and said this argument has been going on for years. She also that she is proud of Adrian for taking a stand.

    The school's uniform guide reads, "Students must wear plain black tailored trousers made of standard material that sits at the waist and shoe line. These must be of a style that is complementary of a blazer. Skirts must be pleated and sit no higher than a credit cards width above the knee."

    The OnePlus Nord 2 is all set to launch in India today alongside the OnePlus Buds Pro at 7:30 PM IST. Both devices have been teased by the company leading to the launch event, thanks to which we know some of the specifications of the upcoming products. The OnePlus Nord 2 has been confirmed to have the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC and a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 65W Warp Charge. The OnePlus Buds Pro is being teased to feature Active Noise Cancellation as well.

    The OnePlus Nord 2 is expected to be priced at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage model and Rs 34,999 for the 12GB + 256GB storage option according to recent leaks. The smartphone is also said to come in five colour variants i.e. Red, Blue Haze, Green Woods, Gray Sierra and Red. 

    The smartphone has already been confirmed to get two OS updates and three years of security updates after launch. The phone will also feature a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display that will have a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone will also likely come in two storage option i.e. 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB.
    The company has also confirmed the Nord 2 will feature a triple rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel IMX766 primary sensor. The phone is also said to feature an 8-MP secondary sensor and a third 8-MP sensor as well. The camera will feature staple features such as night-cape, ultra-wide mode and more. The phone is confirmed to feature a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W Warp Charge fast charging support.

    The OnePlus Buds Pro that will launch alongside the OnePlus Nord 2 is confirmed to have ANC. In fact, the company confirmed to CNET that the TWS earbuds can "intelligently produce noise-cancelling counter frequencies." It will be able to adjust "how much noise cancelling is needed, auto-tuning itself from a minimum of 15 decibels to a maximum of 40db.”

    In the same interview, it was also revealed that the OnePlus Buds Pro will be able to offer 20 hours of total battery life with the charging case. This also includes the Buds Pro while using ANC. The battery life can be extended to 38 hours with the feature turned off. The charging case will also be able to support Qi-wireless charging and can be fast-charged as well. The charging case can be charged via the USB-C port where 10 minutes of charging will yield 10 hours of battery life.

    Nonetheless, the duo of Chahar and vice-captain Bhuneshwar Kumar stitched a remarkable 84-run innings in 15 overs to steal what seemed to be a practically impossible victory and gave a huge boost to the Indian locker room ahead of the third and final ODI of the series.
    On the contrary, it led to a complete draining of faith and belief that the Sri Lankan roster had in itself. They were completely frustrated and imploding on live television with every boundary Chahar and Kumar hit.

    Arjun Kapoor has faced a lot of trolling since the time he made his debut in Bollywood. He recently expressed that audiences criticize his body type because they expect actors to look a certain way and are not familiar with his struggle. 

    In an interview, Arjun Kapoor said that his condition makes it difficult for him to lose weight quickly. He said that he wasn’t only overweight while growing up but also had a medical condition. He said that the negativity was magnified when he was going through a rough patch in his career.

It happened to me; it happens to a lot of people.”

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Arbaaz Khan opened up about the trolling that followed the divorce.     Jeff Bezos became the second billionaire in history to go into space in a privately owned vehicle earlier this week. The Amazon founder flew into space from Blue Origin’s West Texas facility in the New Shepard vehicle. The New Shepard was built by Bezos’ company Blue Origin and was designed to cater to the space tourism market.

    In a rare interview with Charlie Rose from June 2000, Bezos expressed how he wanted to “help with space travel” as much as he could. While some might feel that Bezos was interested in space travel due to the latest interest in space tourism by competing companies, he was thinking about travelling to space even before Amazon took off as a successful company. Bezos founded Blue Origin in 2000, six years after he started Amazon. He started the company with the goal of making spaceflight more accessible and affordable.

    "Blue Origin was founded by Jeff Bezos with the vision of enabling a future where millions of people are living and working in space to benefit Earth. To preserve Earth, Blue Origin believes that humanity will need to expand, explore, find new energy and material resources, and move industries that stress into space. Blue Origin is working on this today by developing partially and fully reusable launch vehicles that are safe, low cost, and serve the needs of all civil, commercial, and defense customers," the company said in a press release. 

    “If I could do anything, and it turns out this is a very hard technical problem, I would like to help go explore space.” Bezos further added, “I would get in a rocket ship, go up into space, and go check out a few things.”

    It seems like Bezos kept his word as he went into space 21 years later albeit not exactly the way he wanted to. Bezos reached a maximum altitude of 107km before the New Shepard started its descent. Bezos went more than 16 kilometres higher than Branson’s July 11 ride. On the way down, Jeff Bezos told mission control: "You have a very happy crew up here.” 

    Needless to say, Bezos has achieved his goal of travelling to space, 21 years after he founded Blue Origin. It would be interesting to see what the future holds for Blue Origin and Bezos, and whether he will be able to “go check out a few things” once Blue Origin starts offering space trips commercially.

    Playing as a leading bowler, Chahar’s role was to bowl tidy overs and pick wickets, which he did exceedingly well, taking two wickets for 53 runs from his eight overs. 
    But more than his bowling, it was his batting that won billions of hearts and made him an overnight superstar.

    Chahar’s journey to the top of world cricket wasn’t a smooth ride as he faced several rejections, but he never gave up and kept on chasing his dream of representing India at the biggest stage.

    Billions of Indian fans must be thankful to the Agra-born player for never losing faith and trusting his skills as without him, India most likely wouldn’t have crossed the finish line on Tuesday.

    Among many heartbreaks in the early part of his career, the biggest one perhaps was when he was rejected by Greg Chappell at the Rajasthan Cricket Association, not for his bowling but for his “height”.

    Yes, you read that right! 
    We were equally surprised when former India fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad made the revelation on the micro-blogging site after Chahar single-handedly took India over the line with his maiden ODI fifty.

    Prasad, in his tweet, said that Chappell had even advised Chahar to look at some different occupation because he thought his height wasn’t good enough to become a successful fast bowler.

    “Deepak Chahar was rejected by Greg Chappell at RCA for his height and told to look at a different occupation.And he single handedly won a match with not even his primary skills. Moral of the story- Believe in yourself and don't take overseas coaches too seriously,” Prasad Tweeted.
    There are off-course exceptions but with such wonderful talent in India, it's time that teams and franchisees consider having Indian coaches and mentors as

    Citing Chahar’s example, Prasad argued that the state teams and franchises should consider appointing more and more Indian coaches for the sake of young and upcoming players.

    A few days ago, Raj Kundra was arrested in connection with an adult film racket case. The arrest shocked everyone.
    According to reports, it is being said that he started this adult film company 18 months ago during lockdown which also showed rapid growth.
    Milind Bharambe, joint commissioner of police (crime branch) revealed that Raj forged a partnership with UK-based brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi's Kenrin Limited.

    Milind Bharambe said, “As he cannot upload these videos from India on an app called Hotshot, he provided the content to a foreign platform by sending videos via WeTransfer. All content was created in his office and sent to a London-based company called, Kenrin Limited, owned by his brother-in-law, Pradeep Bakshi." 
    He further elaborated, “The free-to-download app was yanked off by both Apple and Google Playstore for the type of its content. The Mumbai Police have recovered incriminating evidence like several HotShot films, video clips, WhatsApp chats, etc. during the investigation.” 
    Not only this, the officer also revealed that Raj Kundra used to make 2-3 lakh daily with this business which later went up to 6-8 lakh.

    He said, “Documents of financial transactions run into thousands. We are analyzing the details to get exact earnings. The same will be treated as proceeds of crime. So far, we have frozen Rs 7.5 crore in various accounts. Girls were called for auditions and after selection made to do bold scenes, which went onto semi-nude and then full-nude shoots. Some of them strongly opposed this and had approached the police." 
    Mumbai Police had arrested Kundra after booking him under various sections of the IPC and IT Act as he is said to be the key conspirator in the case. 
    The Mumbai police commissioner said in a statement on Monday, “There was a case registered with the Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr. Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidence regarding this.”

    The very unusual practice match between the Indian cricket team and the County Select XI in Durham got over Day 2 of 3 with the visiting side getting the upper hand once again as the FCCXI were all out for 220 and trailing by 91 runs in the first innings.
    Unusual because of multiple reasons such as the fact that it took Team India to scalp just 9 wickets to “all-out” the other side. This was, essentially, because Avesh Khan, who was asked to play for the County XI after two of their players were ruled out at the end moment with the COVID-19 virus, got injured on Day 1 and there was no one else to bat at the 11th spot.

    The second member of the Indian Test squad who was playing against skipper Rohit Sharma and Co. was Washington Sundar who was also asked to switch sides at the last moment just like Khan.

    Ceasing such a rare opportunity to get in some casual banter with his own teammate playing for the other side, pacer Mohammed Siraj decided to stare Sundar down (and probably even say a few words which couldn’t be heard or seen due to the camera angle) after the very first ball he bowled to him because quietly going back for his run-up.
