    There is no age for love and 89-year-old Hattie Retroage is proving that. She is from New York and is now contemplating making an account on Bumble as she wants to have ‘fun’ in life.

    Sri Lanka Cricket board reveals the estimated earnings that they are set to make out of the ODI and T20I series while hosting Shikhar Dhawan and the B-String of the Indian cricket team from July 13 onwards. According to media reports, the SLC will earn Rs 89.7 crore from the three 50-over matches and as many T20Is by the end of July.
    Originally, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) wanted to visit the island nation for a three-match tour. However, The President of SLC, Shammi Silva eventually disclosed that his organisation ended up requesting the Indian cricket board to further extend their stay and play six more matches.

    Silva further added that the request was made in order to increase the revenue which would be generated by having a high-profile team play against them and essentially help them increase their country’s income.

But after some negotiations with the Indian Cricket Board, we managed to increase the matches to six which will enable us to raise the additional US $6 million in revenue. SLC will be able to provide a large income to the country with Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa’s vision of building a strong economy through Sports,” he said according to CricTracker.

    “We missed out on several tours as scheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, yet we did not reduce the monthly salaries and allowances of our cricketers. None of their facilities were deducted either. In the face of this situation, the cricketers should give out their best display to the country,” he added.
    The disclosure comes a week after former Sri Lankan skipper Arjuna Ranatunga had criticised the SLC board for hosting the “weak” B-String Team India as the stronger one was busy with their affairs in England.

    After Ranatunga’s not-so-subtle words, SLC had to issue a formal statement, rubbishing all the claims of feeling insulted by hosting the B-String.

There is a shroud of mystery around this project and producer Aditya Chopra and Siddharth Anand want to keep it that way. It’s a huge film and they want to reveal details at the right moment.”

He has been busy with other films all this while and now he is preparing for Pathan. The actor will start shooting at YRF studios from April 2.     Gujarat BJP MP Mansukh Mandaviya has now taken over the post of Union Health Minister in the recent cabinet reshuffle on Wednesday. As soon as the position was taken over from Harsh Vardhan, Twitter users started digging up Mansukh Mandaviya’s old tweets.

    People started trolling the new Union Health Minister for his old tweets and his grammar in some of his old comments. The trolls took insensitivity to another level and soon social media platforms were flooded with memes where the users were mocking Mansukh Mandaviya.
    Some tweets that are doing rounds on social media include remarks such as ‘Mahatma Gandhi was our nation of father’. Some people even mocked the fact that Mansukh Mandaviya is saying that he is ‘health of minister.’

    Ranveer was recently seen being driven around his brand new Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600, a top of the line SUV from Mercedes’ Maybach division. Saying that the SUV is a luxury spa on 4 wheels wouldn’t exactly be farfetched.

    While Ranveer bought the Lambo Urus Pearl edition for Rs 3.78 Crore back in 2019, the Maybach GLS 600 set him back by about Rs 2.76 Crore. The Maybach GLS 600 has an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.43 Crore, so when you add all taxes and other incidentals like insurance and stuff, you’re looking at a figure of about Rs 2.76 Crore, on-road.

    With injury ruling Shubman Gill out of the Test series against England, the debate around who should replace him in the Playing XI has picked up the pace. 
    While the team had plenty of options to choose from, skipper Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri seemed unsure of the quality they had on the bench and asked the selectors to send Prithvi Shaw and Devdutt Padikkal as the reserve openers.
    This demand gave rise to a huge debate in the Indian cricket community, with fans and former players criticising Kohli and Shastri for disrespecting the decisions made by the selectors, and interfering in their job.

    Indian legend Kapil Dev was among the first to share his thoughts on the matter and had described the team management’s decision as an insult to those players who are already there with the squad.

    Following the bandwagon, former selector Saba Karim said he still couldn’t believe why such a demand was made by the management and argued that it does more harm than good and hampers the confidence of the existing players and makes them feel insecure.

    "I will never feel it is justified because if you send an additional replacement the players already in the team will feel extremely insecure. There is no need to create such insecurity," Saba Karim said on India News.
    Kapil Dev had questioned if captain and coach would start making such demands then what was the point of having a selection committee in place. The former Indian wicket-keeper also echoed similar sentiments and said the management should not interfere with the selectors’ prerogative and let them do their job.

    "I feel you have to show some faith in the job done by the selectors. I still cannot believe that such a demand would have come from the team management. But if it has come, I feel it is not justifiable," he added.

    Saba Karim, who became a part of the senior selector panel in 2012, said that the skipper and the coach are free to share their views but, eventually, who gets picked in the squad is decided by the selection committee, not the management.

    Many felt that Kohli and Shastri overstepped in their role by making such a demand which was unjust for players like Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul who have been with the squad since the beginning.

    The selection panel, chaired by former fast bowler Chetan Sharma, has rejected the management’s request and asked them to manage with players who are already there in England and as per reports, Mayank Agarwal is all set to open the innings with Rohit Sharma in the first Test, which gets underway on August 4.

    Both the actors' photos and videos started trending on social media. Dilip Saab was ‘The First Khan’ to have played Devdas to perfection in 1955. Later, SRK played the same character inspired by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s novel in 2002. Hence, people can't help but compare both the actors and find similarities. 

    Both the actors also shared the top spot for many Filmfare awards for Best Actor.
    Dilip Kumar was born on 11th December 1922 in Peshawar within a 200m radius of SRK’s ancestral home. 
    Shah Rukh Khan, in an interview in the year 2017 said, “I saw a picture of Dilip Kumar in his (Ketan Mehta) office and I was like oh! that’s me. He looked so much like me in that picture. Or rather I looked so much like him."

    However, after the demise of the legendary actor, SRK was photographed entering his house and was photographed consoling his wife and veteran actress Saira Banu.
    SRK is now being trolled for his clothes, his hair and also for wearing sunglasses.

    Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey’s Haseen Dillruba opened to mixed reviews with some people appreciating the content while some pointing out the faults in it. A few critics also bashed the movie heavily and the writer, Kanika Dhillon has now given it back to these ‘so-called experts’. She is not affected by the negative reviews as she feels the audience has given her much love for her project.

    Both, the critics and the audience, had pointed out the problematic portrayal of misogyny, toxic relationships, and domestic violence in the movie. When asked about the criticism, Kanika told Mashable India, "I have had some glorious reviews and I’d like to give those more importance because there is no benchmark in our country for who can review and who can’t. And there is no educational qualification that is required. Basically, these guys just get a platform, a publication and it has a reach. But am I going to listen to each and every one of them? No, I am not. I am too busy making films."

    She clarified that she is okay with mixed reviews and even the negative ones but she is not going to support trolling for that matter. She added, “I will look at a review that makes sense; I’m not saying that a review that is glorifying my work only makes sense to me. But definitely, a review that is balanced and not hysterical, and a review that doesn’t troll. There are so many mixed reviews and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading them. Because the sly glee that you put on paper, the sly glee ‘that I’m going to butcher this’, it comes across! And it says more about you than the filmmakers. And we feel sad for you. I'm totally for mixed/negative reviews but I'm not up for trolling."

    There are scenes where Taapsee’s character Rani has been portrayed as a victim of domestic abuse. Some people even called out Taapsee saying that she had issues with Kabir Singh and sadly, she is a part of another 'misogynistic' tale.
