Gujarat BJP MP Mansukh Mandaviya has now taken over the post of Union Health Minister in the recent cabinet reshuffle on Wednesday. As soon as the position was taken over from Harsh Vardhan, Twitter users started digging up Mansukh Mandaviya’s old tweets.

People started trolling the new Union Health Minister for his old tweets and his grammar in some of his old comments. The trolls took insensitivity to another level and soon social media platforms were flooded with memes where the users were mocking Mansukh Mandaviya.

Some tweets that are doing rounds on social media include remarks such as ‘Mahatma Gandhi was our nation of father’. Some people even mocked the fact that Mansukh Mandaviya is saying that he is ‘health of minister.’

Another such tweet dug up by Twitter users that dates back to 2014 posted by Mansukh Mandaviya goes as, “Mr. Rahul Ji, great-grandson of Mahatma Gandhi already wrote you that RSS was not at all responsible for the death of Gandhiji .”

While some users trolled him, many also came out in support of the new Health Minister. Tehseen Poonawalla also said, “Unfortunate to see so many fellow citizens trolling Mansukh Mandaviya ji for his lack of proficiency in English. Critic him on faults wrt his work & Ministry.”

Internet trolling in India has reached another level and now people are trolled for every tiny thing they do. However, Mansukh Mandaviya has always been a prominent BJP leader from Gujarat's Saurashtra region.

He has been an integral young face in the Narendra Modi government at the centre since 2016.
