Usually, you would find billionaires living in a lavish mansion with rooms for almost everything you can imagine. However, Elon Musk is a bit different from other billionaires and is now living in a modest home that costs $50,000 or Rs 3,730,000. Elon Musk’s net worth is currently sitting at $165 billion but he is now living in a rented home just like everyone else.

Musk’s new home is now in Boca Chica, Texas and he provided more context about his housing situation in response to a tweet. He is currently living in a prefabricated home by housing startup Boxabl. "I do live in a $50k house, but not this specific one,” Musk wrote.
Elon Musk is reported living in a 20X20 unit that costs less than a Model Y Long Range Dual Motor AWD. The house is made of concrete panels and steel which can be installed very quickly. The house can also be easily transported as the home is light enough to be pulled by a vehicle.
It was reported last November that Musk was living in a Boxabl home when the prefabricated housing company posted a video saying it's building a house for a “top secret customer — one that would prefer to have a Falcon 9 poster in the door.

Boxabl homes are extremely customisable where customers can choose different configurations and finishes. However, it seems like Musk opted for a base unit. It’s quite compelling that the second-richest man in the world is living in a modest prefabricated home especially if your net worth is around $170 billion.
It seems like Musk is looking to keep his promise of not owning a house. He tweeted in May 2020 that he no longer wishes to own any house. Weeks later, he sold five of his homes including three of his adjacent mansions in Bel Air, Los Angeles. He sold the mansions for a combined price of $40.9 million.

The SpaceX CEO said in June that he only has one house left in the San Francisco Bay Area that he rents out for events and was waiting to sell it. It "needs to go to a large family who will live there," he said, because "it's a special place.”
Would you be able to live in a prefabricated home like Musk? It sure does seem practical and affordable.

Minecraft is known to be the ultimate sandbox game where you can create almost everything using pixelated blocks. A YouTuber went viral for recreating the Taj Mahal in the popular game but what’s impressive is that it’s a 1:1 ratio recreation. Not only does it require a lot of creativity, building a 1:1 replica in Minecraft also requires a lot of patience and skill. YouTuber PippenFTS plans to plot the entire planet in the game and is also behind the project Build The Earth (BTE).
© BuildTheEarth
The picture of Tak Mahal in Minecraft was posted in Reddit which went viral soon after. BTE was started by the Youtuber as an initiative to let other players cope with the COVID lockdown and encourage them to build beautiful cities, popular monuments and landmarks in the game. However, since the game requires gathering resources to build things, replicating Earth will be a mammoth task. Players need to plan ahead how many resources they require to build anything in the game.
© BuildTheEarth
Daniel Tan, the person who built the Taj Mahal in Minecraft as a part of the 'Build The Earth’ initiative, told reporters that since the Seventh Wonder of the World was not recreated in the game, he took it as one of his most important projects. “I had to measure everything by myself to find out how big the complex and the buildings are," says the Malaysian architect who has never seen the Taj Mahal in real life. He got the overall dimensions of the Taj using Google Map, Google Images and other sources. Tan took three months to recreate the 42-acre complex which he finished in December last year.

The BTE community has managed to gather over 2 Lakh members who are working in different parts of the world. Apart from the Taj Mahal, players are working on creating other parts of India including Bangalore, Mumbai and Varanasi. The makers have also revealed that they needed to have bigger plans to recreate Mumbai in the game.
Minecraft is currently the best-selling game of all time with more than 200 million copies sold so far. The game is also used in schools to improve problem-solving, collaboration and learning. The game has also been used to teach science, urban planning and foreign languages.

Arjuna Ranatunga, arguably Sri Lanka’s greatest cricketer, was heavily criticised for his remarks against the Indian cricket team which is currently in the island nation for a limited-overs series.
Ranatunga had disrespected the Shikhar Dhawan-led team, calling it a weak side, and even criticised his own country’s cricket board for agreeing to host a second-string side.

The 1996 World Cup-winning skipper, even in his wildest of dreams, wouldn’t have thought that the table would turn so quickly and he would end up looking like a fool.
Well, that’s exactly what is about to happen. You see, Sri Lanka Cricket Board and its players are at loggerheads owing to their contractual issues and given that none of them is ready to back off the issue is likely to drag on for a bit longer than expected.
© Reuters
According to a report in Daily FT, the 24 players who went on England tour had refused to sign the annual contract or the tour contract that was given to them by the Lankan board but were allowed to board the plane after signing a voluntary declaration form.
You might think the same thing might happen this time around as well, what’s stopping that? The answer to this question lies in the statement given by SLC CEO Ashley de Silva, who said it was a one-off incident when the board caved in front of the players, but not anymore.
© Reuters
“The Executive Committee on the advice of the Technical and Advisory Committee will have to decide whether the players will have to sign a tour contract. Probably that is the only option left because we are not going ahead with voluntary declaration forms,” said de Silva.
“We will not want to go ahead with any voluntary declaration forms in the future. It was the first time a team had left overseas signing such a document.”
© Reuters
If indeed the contractual situation is not resolved in the next few days, then Sri Lanka Cricket will be left with only one option, pick players from the pool of 39 contracted cricketers, which mainly includes fringe players.
“These players are currently practising and playing matches and we will consider them for selection for the Indian series. We have still not selected the squad for the series with India, we will do that after Sunday’s third and final ODI against England,” said chairman of selectors Pramodya Wickramasinghe.
© Reuters
Given Sri Lanka's dismal performance in England, where they have lost all the matches, the majority of Indian supporters wondered whether they aren’t playing with the second-string side in England already.
While many described the move as a masterstroke as it would give them an excuse to avoid humiliation after losing the series against India, others took a sarcastic dig at Ranatunga who was left eating his own words.
So that they can make an excuse after lossing to india second string side

TV host and film actor Vishal Malhotra collaborated with an artist to release an NFT (Non-Fungile Token) which should for 2.5 ETH (Ethereum) which roughly translates to Rs 4.3 Lakh. He collaborated with renowned artist Ishita Banerjee and released the artwork that depicted Vishal’s 25-year career in the entertainment industry. The artwork showed off the most popular character he has portrayed over the years.
© Foundation
The art piece itself is animated with bright colours and has Vishal’s own voice. Interest in the auction kicked off 11 seconds after going live and the first bid was made 45 minutes later. The buyer of the NFT also got to chat live with Vishal and possibly a Meet&Greet if COVID rules allow.
Commenting on the occasion Vishal Malhotra said,” Excited to collaborate with an NFT artist as the first Indian actor, where I am the subject of the art piece which depicts the characters I have played in my journey as an actor. I have lent my voice to the background music of the artwork as well. What’s interesting is that it also helps me connect to the people who buy the collection. They get a chance for a meet and greet depending on the covid situation or get an interaction live/online. A bid that started at approx 0.5 eth (700USD) finally sold within 24 hours for 2.5eth (5500 USD) that’s 5 times the listed price. The buzz around this HISTORIC NFT drop was so much that it created an intense bidding war. My next NFT drops early next week and I’ve already been getting messages with bids!”

An NFT is a unit of data stored on a blockchain that certifies digital assets to be unique and not interchangeable. NFTs can be used to sell items such as photos, videos, audio files or any other type of audio file. NFTs are tracked on blockchain to provide the buyer proof of ownership. However, this is not the same as owning copyright. Copies of the digital items are available for anyone to obtain and access to the original digital file is not only restricted to the buyer.
NFTs work similar to cryptocurrency tokens however the main difference is that NFTs are not mutually interchangeable like Cryptocurrencies. Digital Art has been an early use case for NFTs because of its ability to assure unique signature and ownership.
If you would like to see Vishal Malhotra’s NFT for yourself, head on over to the auction page here

World War 2 is often considered the war that would end all wars however a prospect of a third world war scares almost every world leader, not Vladimir Putin though. Vladimir Putin thinks that it will never come to that because he believes Russia would easily win it.
© Reuters
Putin was thinking about a possibility of a global conflict as a response to recent incidents. Russia fired a warning shot at one of the UK’s warships in the black and a warplane dropped a bomb right in front of it.
Russia says that the boat had entered Russian waters which the UK has denied of ever happening. Whether we believe Russia or the UK, it certainly was a moment of tension between the two countries that could further escalate. Putin says that had Russia sank the ship, it wouldn’t have led to a Third World War — because the West knows it could never win it.
When asked if the world was close to World War Three during the standoff, Putin said: "Of course not." "Even if we had sunk the ship it is hard to imagine that the world would have been on the verge of World War Three because those doing it (the provocation) know that they could not emerge as victors from such a war," he added.
© Reuters
Putin also claimed that a US recon aircraft worked with the British destroyer during the incident. "The destroyer had been warned that weapons would be used if it trespasses the border of the Russian Federation. It did not react to the warning," the Russian Defense Ministry said. "It was obvious that the destroyer entered (the waters near Crimea) pursuing, first of all, military goals, trying to use the spy plane to see how our forces would stop such provocations, to see what is activated and where, how things work and where everything is located.”
Do you think if it ever came to World War 3, Russia would be able to easily win it or is Putin being delusional about what could happen? Let us know in the comments what you think of Putin’s comments and how World War 3 would pan out if it ever came to that.

Independent music videos have been a part of pop culture for a long time now and as a 90’s kid, I have grown up listening to these songs. In a county where Bollywood songs rule the entertainment industry, we had a few independent artists who were breaking the myth. These songs had their own plot, scripts and many of them were even better than the Bollywood songs.
With Akshay Kumar being a part of the Filhaal series, a few people went on to say that Bollywood celebs have started to invade this independent video space just like OTT platforms. But, this is not the case as the celebs have been part of these independent music videos for years now.
A few celebs were seen before their big break in Bollywood but most of them were featured after they had gained immense popularity.
We are taking you through a timeline to show how Bollywood celebs took over this arena as well.
1. Shahid Kapoor In Aankhon Mein Tera Hi Chera (1999)
Shahid Kapoor might not have been a big star back then but he did get attention through the popular song that was released back in 1999. The video traces Shahid's one-sided love story and tunes are still popular among the millennials.
2. Amitabh Bachchan In Kabhi Nahi (2002)
In 2021, I went through the comments section of the song released in 2002 and people are saying this track is funnier than the Coolie No.1 remake. Amitabh Bachchan was a big name and seeing him in an independent music video did open doors to many other music artists singing big names.
3. Vidya Balan In Kabhi Aana Tu Meri Gali (2003)
Euphoria’s Kabhi Aana Tu Mere Gali (2003) gave a kick to Vidya Balan’s career. It was directed by ad guru-turned-filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar, who immediately saw her as his future ‘heroine’. In 2005, Vidya went on to make her debut in Bollywood with Parineeta directed by him. The song is still fresh in our memories and it’s interesting to see how these songs had their own narratives like in Bollywood movies.
4. Deepika Padukone In Naam Hai Tera Tera (2006)
Many of us might remember that it was Om Shanti Om that got Deepika Padukone in the big picture but it was Himesh Reshammiya's music video Naam Hai Tere Tera that gave her a big break. These days, Deepika is surely one of the biggest actors we have in the Bollywood circuit.
5. Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor In Dheere Dheere (2015)
The hit song Dheere Dheere Se from the 1990 film Aashiqui was recreated by Honey Singh as an ode to the late musician Gulshan Kumar in 2015. Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor paired up for the song and as the two stars had gained enough popularity, the song climbed up music charts with an unbelievable speed.
6. Tiger Shroff And Disha Patani In Befikra (2016)
The song Befikra has been sung by Meet Bros and Aditi Singh Sharma. The song has also been composed by Meet Bros and the lyrics have been penned by Kumaar. Because of Tiger Shroff’s superb dancing abilities and popularity, people went gaga over the song. Even Disha Patani matches up well with the actor.
Not just these actors, Shah Rukh Khan too has been a part of an independent music video. It was in 2002 that Jagjit Singh converted the poems by Atal Bihari Vajpayee into a ghazal. The music video featured SRK and the preface of the video was narrated by Amitabh Bachchan.
We also Vicky Kaushal in a single music video titled Pachtaoge and many appreciated the song.
So, Bollywood celebs did conquer this space many years ago.
