We all know why eating enough calories is important for our bodies and is a non-negotiable component of fitness.

However, did you know that there are some foods out there that can actually help you lose weight just by consuming them? These are called ‘zero calorie’ foods.
Even though there’s no evidence to support this claim, these foods do make for good low-calorie snacks.
What Are Zero-Calorie Foods? Zero calorie or negative calorie foods are typically the foods that need more calories to digest and process in the body, than what it naturally contains. This does not mean that the food itself has zero calories. It simply means that they help in creating a negative calorie balance.
Theoretically, this would mean that you’re burning calories by consuming these foods. However, there’s no scientific evidence to prove it.
With that said, these foods are definitely healthier to consume because they’re rich in micronutrients and help you stay in a calorie deficit.
    1. Apples Apples are one of the healthiest fruits to consume. Approximately, 125 grams of apple will give you 57 calories only, along with a bunch of essential vitamins and minerals.

    2. Green Tea Green tea is considered one of the healthiest beverages simply because of its low calorie count. A cup of plain green tea has as little as 2 calories. It can also help you improve your metabolic rate, improve immunity along with many other health benefits.

    3. Fennel Fennel is a type of bulbous vegetable that can be consumed raw, roasted or braised. Fennel seeds are also popularly used to add some flavour to your food, without adding many extra calories. One cup of fennel has about 27 calories.

    4. Cucumbers Cucumber has a very high water content. This is exactly why it’s one of the healthiest low-calorie snack foods that you can opt for. One medium sized cucumber has about 30 calories only.

    5. Watermelons This seasonal food is very popularly known for being a zero calorie food. One serving of watermelon can give you approximately 30 calories, which is extremely low as compared to some other snacks that we love to binge on.

    6. Black Tea Just like green tea, black tea also has many health benefits and is extremely low in calories. You can have this beverage without going beyond your calorie limit. A cup of black tea, without any sweetener, has about 2 calories.

    7. Strawberries Adding strawberries to your meals is another great way of maintaining your calorie deficit. They’re also one of the tastiest fruits to snack on in between your meals. One small strawberry has about 2 calories only.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__2012__
    8. Cabbage Cabbage is another delicious vegetable that you can add in your meals. There are so many salad recipes that you can easily fix within minutes for a low calorie meal. One cup of shredded cabbage has about 17 calories.

It wouldn’t be farfetched to say that Harshvarrdhan Kapoor is perhaps the most notable sneakerhead we have in India. He certainly is one of the biggest sneakerheads in Bollywood and has a collection that many celebrities are surely envious of.

Needless to say, as someone who is deeply entrenched in India’s sneaker culture and is deeply embedded with Indian sneakerheads, he is in the perfect position to talk extensively about sneaker culture in India.

    © MensXP
For our June cover, we spoke to him about his fascination with sneakers and the Indian sneaker scene.

“India’s sneaker scene is still in its nascent stage, but in the last couple of years, things have picked up for sure,” says Harshvarrdhan. “I am glad that people follow me and my sneakers very closely, but I don’t know when did I become this flagbearer for the Indian sneakerhead,” he adds.

Flagbearer or not, people do have a lot of interest in his sneakers. “I think this all began two or three years ago, when the press started writing extensively about my sneakers and sneakers in general. I think that is the time when sneaker culture started to get mainstream.”
    2. Not About Posing © MensXP
Speaking on his personal relationship with sneakers, Harshvarrdhan says, “It is really difficult to explain that to anyone who isn’t a sneakerhead. For me as well as for a lot of sneakerheads, it has never been about wearing some expensive pair of sneakers and posing for Instagram. For a lot of sneakerheads, it is about the bond that one makes with their sneakers, and with other people.”

    3. Connecting With People © Instagram/harshvarrdhankapoor
It may be difficult for someone who isn’t following the sneaker scene in India to understand, but India’s sneaker culture has led many people to bond. It has led to a number of friendships, even for someone like Harsh. “I have made tons of friends at sneaker meet-ups,” he said.

    4. Sneaker Culture Goes Global © MensXP
“I have this friend in London, who shares a similar taste in sneakers as me, and we often share pictures with each other, comparing how we wore a particular pair, and how else should we wear it,” says Harsh. Indian sneakerheads and the sneaker scene is truly going global in this regard. Indian sneakerheads are buying more and more sneakers from international drops and markets, and international buyers often hit up Indian sneakerheads to buy a rare pair.

This may seem strange, but because people bond over sneakers, many sneakerheads have stories where they have landed gigs thanks to the sneakers they own. Harsh shared his own example. “I did the best audition of my life wearing a pair of Off-White Euro, and bonded with the director over sneakers.”

    The bottom line…
People might assume that the sneaker scene in India is only about flexing on Instagram and social media, with an obnoxiously expensive sneaker. That, however, is a very reductive image. It is more about the people, the stories they share and the way the stories connect.

When it comes to gender disparity in terms of wages, Bollywood definitely deserves a mention. It’s no secret that male actors are paid way more than female ones, thus Bollywood directors end up making movies focusing on the male characters. Truth be told, we are far from achieving the true goal of giving equal wages.
It’s a bitter pill to swallow and even after actresses like Deepika Padukone shedding light on it, it continues to be the norm. Just recently, reports of Kareena Kapoor Khan demanding a hike in fee for playing Sita spread like wildfire and people were quick to tag her as a ‘selfish’ actor, and even demonized her.
Taapsee Pannu recently shared her opinions on the pay disparity between male and female actors. She said that female actors who ask for more money are seen as ‘difficult’, while if a male actor hikes his fee, it is celebrated because he is climbing the ladders of success.
View this post on InstagramSpeaking to The National Bulletin, Taapsee said, “If a female actor asks more, she is termed difficult and problematic and if a man asks more it’s a mark of his success. The difference is the men who started with me earn 3-5 times more than what I do. And the gap keeps increasing as we go in higher star category.”
She added that the audience doesn’t celebrate female actors as much as male actors. “Even now we struggle with budgets. Everyone hears that since it’s a female-driven film budget will have to be slashed and that’s because our returns are always unfair in comparison to our male counterparts. And the audience is a big reason behind that,” she said.
View this post on InstagramOn the work front, Taapsee Pannu’s Haseen Dillruba is now streaming on Netflix.
In a statement, Taapsee had earlier said, “Haseen Dilruba was a film I had a very strong gut feeling about the day I heard the basic idea from Kanika. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the first choice for the film and it came to me after all their options were exhausted. The good old saying that, if it’s meant for you it will come to you stands true for this case. It’s not just a beautifully written mystery, it has such wonderful characters involved which is candy in an actor’s hands. I am glad I got to experiment with my look and performance with this one because I am definitely not the go-to person for this kind of character conventionally and we all love to take risks here.”

Apple took its sweet time to revamp its streaming box and the 2021 version of the Apple TV 4K changes a lot of things that I had contention with. While the box may look exactly like the previous iteration, there are some meaningful upgrades under the hood. The biggest change has to be the remote that comes with the 2021 iteration that fixes almost everything I had a problem with. The previous Apple TV remote may just be the worst remote ever designed and it seems like Apple took the criticism seriously. Here’s what I think about the Apple TV 4K after using it for over two weeks.
    Design  © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla
The 2021 Apple TV 4K looks identical to the previous models and it can easily fit in your existing entertainment system without taking too much room. The device has a matt black top with a discreet logo at the center. On the sides, the Apple TV 4K (2021) retains glossy finishes which can be a major dust magnet. At the back, you have the power socket, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an Ethernet port. What’s weird is that the Apple TV still doesn’t come with a bundled HDMI cable which is inexcusable especially for how much this thing costs.

The biggest change here is the new Siri remote which has all the right changes I needed. For starters, there’s now a circular clickpad at the top which works the same way as the touch-sensitive touchpad. However, the additional directional buttons on the outer ring make it easier to navigate for users who can never get used to the sensitivity of the touchpad. Scrolling forward and backward is far easier thanks to the new design which was my biggest gripe with the previous remote. Clicking the touchpad results in opening apps or selecting menus that work similarly to the previous remote.

    © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla
The new remote also has new buttons such as the back button and a mute button which were sorely needed. It’s great to see Apple take feedback on the Apple TV Siri remote and we finally have dedicated buttons for key actions that weren’t there before. The Siri remote also has a power button that you can use to switch the Apple TV 4K on or off. The Siri button has now been moved to the right edge of the remote which, in my opinion, was the right decision.

Performance The Apple TV 4K (2021) is powered by Apple’s A12 Bionic chip and supports high-frame-rate HDR and Dolby content. The Apple TV also supports Dolby Atmos audio which is great for users who have a 5.1 or 7.1 audio system at home. In terms of picture quality, the Apple TV 4K (2021) does an incredible job at displaying HDR content. Watching TV shows like For Mankind on Apple TV+ was a sheer delight with deep blacks and vivid colours. If you have an iPhone, you can even balance the colour profile by simply pointing the iPhone’s front camera towards the dedicated stencil. I initially thought this was a gimmick, but using this feature really did correct the colour profile of the Apple TV.
    © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla
Since the new Apple TV 4K supports high frame rate HDR, the device is future proof for the time being. While not many movies take advantage of the feature right now as most movies and TV shows are shot at 30FPS, you can experience the difference when watching live sporting events. While watching EURO 2021 and F1 live streams, I barely noticed any motion blur on fast-moving objects.

Since the new Apple TV is powered by A12 Bionic Chipset, the overall experience is faster, snappier and a lot more satisfying than the previous model. The A12 Bionic chipset is also a great SoC for experiencing gaming on the Apple TV 4K. Since the streaming box can connect with PlayStation and Xbox controllers, it effectively turns into a gaming console.
Games run at higher frames which makes the overall experience a lot smoother than ever before. The 7nm A12 Bionic is the same chipset that can be found on the iPhone XS and XR series. The chipset is great at handling most modern games as it has incredible GPU performance and efficiency.
If you are subscribed to Apple Arcade, you can play plenty of console-level games on the Apple TV 4K 2021. Since the streaming box also has support for HDMI 2.1, you can also play some games at higher frame rates. Having said that, you still need an HDMI 2.1 cable and a TV with an HDMI 2.1 port in order to enjoy high frame-rate gaming.
The tvOS Experience The new Apple TV 4K runs the same tvOS operating system as previous models which should feel right at home for existing users. If you are a new user, you will be greeted with a clean interface where you can access apps easily and fiddle through settings in straightforward menus. You can set up multiple Apple ID user profiles as well in case there is more than one user in the home.

If you’re an iPhone or iPad user, there are other integrations that you can take advantage of apart from calibrating colour profiles. For example, you can type in search terms and passwords from an iPhone rather than trying to use the Siri remote which is a much faster way to go about things. You can also control the Apple TV 4K with your iPhone from the control centre provided you are on the same network.

If you own other Apple devices such as a MacBook, you can mirror your screen using AirPlay 2. If you own Apple audio products such as the AirPods, AirPods Max Pro, or the HomePod, you can connect these accessories from the Bluetooth menu with ease. The Apple TV 4K also supports connecting two pairs of AirPods as well. If you prefer a stereo HomePod setup, the Apple TV 4K has support for that as well.
Finally, if you have smart devices hooked up with HomeKit, you can directly control all of them from the Siri remote which is a neat feature to have. There’s little to no lag when using the Siri remote to control your smart home gadgets.
The Final SayIf you’re already invested in the Apple ecosystem, you shouldn’t really be looking beyond the Apple TV 4K for your streaming needs. With deep integrations with almost every Apple product, the Apple TV 4K is the perfect streaming box for your entertainment system. If you’re a casual gamer, the Apple TV 4K can also double up as a gaming console for playing games via Apple Arcade or purchased games from the App Store. For Rs 15,990, the Apple TV 4K (2021) may just be the ultimate streaming box to own in 2021.

Bollywood icon Rishi Kapoor left us last year after fighting a long battle with cancer.
The actor made his debut in Bollywood with Raj Kapoor's Mera Naam Joker and established his place in the industry. Rishi was not just an immaculate actor but also an honest man who often spoke his heart out during interviews.

Very recently, actor-filmmaker Tinnu Anand, who ventured into Bollywood with his directorial debut, Duniya Meri Jeb Mein, 1979, spoke about the struggles he faced with Rishi Kapoor.

He shared during this interview that once back in the day, Rishi was not okay working with Amitabh Bachchan, and the news came in just a day after he agreed to do the movie with the megastar.
    © Instagram/RishiKapoor_FC
The filmmaker said, “My brother Bittu was a producer and we were not financially secure to make a film like Duniya Meri Jeb Mein. So, we had to listen to the whims and fancies of the actors. Like, when I told Rishi Kapoor that I was going to narrate the story to Amitabh Bachchan, he was very happy. That night he went to a party of the film Zinda Dil and when his cameraman-director Sudarshan Nag asked him what was he feeling so happy about, he told him that the next day he and Amitabh would sign on the dotted line to act in Tinnu’s film,”

Rishi had already done two films with the director without charging a single penny, and he was ready to work with him again only on one condition.

The filmmaker said, “He wanted us to cast someone else as Rishi was convinced that Amitabh had a better role than him and since he played a handicapped character, he would gain sympathy. We were in a quandary.”
In fact, Rishi had suggested casting Shashi Kapoor, his uncle in the movie as per the filmmaker. He said, "Rishi suggested we take Shashi Kapoor, his uncle. But we didn’t know back then that Shashi will only give two hours in a day for the film."

Finally, the movie released with Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Shashi Kapoor as the lead cast for the movie.

Rishi Kapoor, in his memoir, Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored, also spoke about working with Amitabh Bachchan and said that the roles were 'written' for him and other actors had to work really hard to match up. The book also claimed that Amitabh didn't give due credit to his actors, but only to directors and writers.

He said, "Amitabh is undeniably a superb actor, immensely talented and, at the time, the number one star who ruled the box office. He was an action hero, the angry young man. So roles were written for him. Although we may have been smaller stars, we were not lesser actors."
    © Instagram/RishiKapoor_FC
Despite their 'lingering issue', both the actors were still a part of Kabhie Kabhie. Amar Akbar Anthony, Naseeb, Ajooba and Coolie. They worked in these movies together and were again seen after 27 years in 102 Not Out.
