Jackie Shroff recently revealed how he hit rock bottom after the box office failure of Boom. The actor sold his house and worked extremely hard to pay off his debts.

The film was released in the year 2003 and starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Padma Lakshmi, Madhu Sapre, Zeenat Aman, and Katrina Kaif, and was produced by Ayesha Shroff.
Earlier, Tiger Shroff also opened up about its failure and the troubles the film caused them. Now, Jackie Shroff expressed that he repaid everyone to clear his family name.

He said, “I knew that we tried something and we lost something. If I had to pay for it, I’d pay. I had worked as much as I could and we repaid everybody so that my family’s name gets clear. Business mein up down hota hi hai, yeh zaroori nahi hai ki hum hamesha upar hi rahenge (Ups and downs are common in a business. it doesn't need to be always going to stay up.) Kabhi upar kabhi niche hota hai (Sometimes it's up and sometimes it's down), but you need to know how to keep your sanity and ethics.”
He also said, “My kids didn’t understand anything. They were too small and we didn’t let it get to them."

“I'm just proud of both my children. They are strong enough and getting the house back, my wife didn't want it back. She said, 'Let it be, what's gone is gone'. But his thought was nice, his thought was beautiful that he wants to make a house for his mother and his family,” he added.
Earlier, Tiger Shroff also expressed the impact of the film’s failure on him and how one by one everything was sold off.

After finishing the opening day (technically the Day 2) of the World Test Championship final on top, Team India failed to capitalise on the advantage and were bundled out for 217 in their first innings. Virat Kohli failed to add a single run to his overnight tally of 44 runs and was trapped by RCB teammate Kyle Jamieson, who set him up nicely by bowling a few outswingers and then brought one back in sharply, catching the Indian skipper by surprise.
Despite gifting over the advantage to the opposition, India were hopeful of making early inroads
into New Zealand’s innings but things didn’t go as per plan for Indian bowlers. Tom Latham and Devon Conway, much like what Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill did for India, played cautiously and batted for nearly 35 overs, adding 70 runs for the opening wicket.

As the bowlers continued their struggle in the middle, Indian fans cheered on their team by playing some popular songs on the instruments, including saxophone and dhol, throughout the day.
Acknowledging their effort, skipper Kohli, who was standing in the slips at the time, decided to motivate them by shaking a leg on the music beat.

Watching Kohli enjoy his time in the middle was loved by most of the fans but there were a select few who questioned his casual body language, especially when the team was struggling for the first breakthrough.
Not a single wicket and he is doing bhangra no shame left pic.twitter.com/nFuY2hLClH
    — Div (@div_yumm) June 20, 2021We the people of India are heavily involved in this game and doing all the superstitions and prayers for our win.
Meanwhile our captain is dancing on the field like a monkey.
    Such a shame. #Kohli pic.twitter.com/zduhlpNJOA
    — Anuj (@Iamanujkdhiman) June 20, 2021The Indian skipper is known for his aggression on the field but it was good to see him enjoying his time out there in the middle and his supporters were quick to retaliate and slammed those who criticised him for his dancing.
Wow , in which book it’s written you can’t dance if wicket isn’t fallen??
    — PRÍŸÃŃŠH (@Pri7an45_MahiRo) June 20, 2021Bhai bande ko maze lene do na. You can't expect everyone to be serious all the time. And there are no indications that the match is lost.
    — Pranav Nambi (@PranavNambi) June 20, 2021Match abhi baaki hain mere dost! That's the way to enjoy the game. Everyone has their own way to lead their teams.
    — Shashank Mugali (@MugaliShashank) June 20, 2021Watching Kohli shake his leg, would have definitely boosted players’ morale as well as those supporting in the stands and motivated them to put in a little more extra effort into their job.
It was not that Kohli wasn’t involved in the game as much as he should have been, he kept making bowling changes to unsettle both batsmen and, in the end, it worked out really well as Ravinchandran Ashiwn gave India the first breakthrough, and guess who took the catch? Yes! Virat Kohli.

Ashwin bowled a tossed up delivery and Latham took the bait and went for the drive but couldn’t beat Kohli at short cover, who took a sharp catch by jumping in the air.
After getting the first breakthrough, Kohli kept experimenting with his field placements and bowling changes and it paid off as a slight lapse in concentration from Conway cost him his wicket. Conway flicked a leg-stump delivery from Ishant Shamrma straight into the hands of Mohammed Shami at wide mid-on.
The Kiwis trail India by 116 runs with eight wickets in hand but the weather forecast is not too kind for the day. It is similar to what we had on the opening day and there is a high possibility of a complete washout.

Becoming an influential couple in the world of Indian cricket has to be one of the most tricky tasks ever.
TV presenter and the wife of Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah Sanjana Ganesan shared a picture of her conversation with Dinesh Karthik from Day 3 of the World Test Championship finals but the response she got from the fans was more about Bumrah than her.
It was a fun day at work.

Similar to what we have seen in the past, once again, it was the cricketer’s partner who had to listen to the unwarranted criticism of the “fans”, even though they had nothing to do with the fact that the athletes were simply having a bad day.
But for your husband it was hard day
    — Awais (@Awaischoudry139) June 20, 2021U had fun but not your husband (poor)
    Chocked in all ICC knockouts
    — Akash (@akashgbelgur) June 20, 2021Bumrah jo akele rehne dijye plz
    — Nirahua (@NirahuaRomeo) June 20, 2021This isn’t the first or the most famous incident in which the cricketer’s spouse has been blamed for the lack of form shown by a cricketer and has been trolled and judged on social media just because their husbands struggled to score big runs or take big wickets.
Actor and the wife of Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma has been living in this toxic world for over a couple of years during which if the Indian skipper failed to put up enough numbers, it felt like a field day for the actor.
"A 'golden duck' is all Virat Kohli could gift Anushka Sharma at the Lord's"
    — Jack Sparrow (@Kill_me1123) July 28, 2014
For instance, check out this comment by a random Twitter user who got Sharma involved in a sarcastic criticism towards Kohli, who got out for a duck during a five-match series against England back in 2014. The reason why this particular incident is so special is that Sharma was not even in the United Kingdom for this match and still got dragged into all this.
In the first innings of the World Test Championship finals, Bumrah did struggle a little bit on either side of the pitch and was visibly anxious in the middle. After going wicketless and being one of the more expensive bowlers for Kohli, Bumrah’s dismissal on the golden duck brought him insult to injury.
