Some actors perhaps are just meant for super quirky roles, that others will kill for. A quick look at the relatively short but super impressive filmography of Priyanshu Painyuli will suffice as an example. Right from being a part of iconic projects like Rock On 2 to Mirzapur 2, to nailing niche but super impressive assignments like Extraction and Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, this man does know how to choose his roles.
View this post on Instagram View this post on InstagramHowever, it is perhaps the role he did NOT end up doing, but was almost about to, remains one of the most iconic characters ever, that was played to perfection by the unbelievable Kubbra Sait. Yes, we are talking about the character of 'Kukoo' from Sacred Games.
View this post on InstagramWhile talking to a leading daily about roles that he wanted to play but missed out on, Priyanshu spoke at length. "One of my favourite ones was MC Sher, Gully Boy, which Siddhant (Chaturvedi) did. This is an interesting one, not many people know about it. I was a finalist with Kubbra for Kukoo's role in Sacred Games. So I lost weight and this was while Bhavesh Joshi was being edited. (Vikramaditya) Motwane sir came to me and he said 'We are trying to figure out whether a guy should play Kukoo or a girl. And we are testing people, auditioning people, would you like to understand this?' And I met Anurag Kashyap sir and understood the part. He said 'I know how you act and I have no problem with that. Tu accha kar hi lega scenes mein but read some of the Kukoo scene and see if you want to attempt it. Because it is a little tricky to play that part," he said.
View this post on Instagram"So I read those scenes and said give me one month's time. So it took a lot of prep. These guys also enjoyed the prep. I remember wearing five inch heels, walking around the house, lost weight. I have pictures of my Kukoo trial test. The same get-up that Kubbra did. I got the eyelashes, the wig, the same gown, and I had to learn the dance very very much. Like Parveen Babi was the reference. So I danced at the studio in the whole outfit. Eventually, Netflix and everybody decided that (they should go with a woman for the role). But I think what Kubbra brought in that I was missing somewhere was that she was bringing in that body language which is very important as Kuk. When I saw her doing it, I thought yea, she was the right one. I wasn't so graceful when I danced either," he concluded.
View this post on InstagramWe can't imagine anyone else in that role except Kubbra now, but we're absolutely sure that Priyanshu would have crushed it. Also, the fact that makers are now trying to be more authentic in terms of casting and breaking the molds, such as giving an equal shot to both the genders to play a transgendered character, is worth applause.

After years of listening to mainstream Bollywood songs, I accidentally stumbled upon a whole gold mine of soulful music that resides on YouTube.
It happened while listening to the OG Indie musician Prateek Kuhad, who was one of the hidden gems, an underrated artist who slowly started gaining popularity among youngsters.
© Instagram/Prateek Kuhad
His expressive words, relaxed beats and even the aesthetic music videos speak to us like no other. However, he isn’t the only Indie musician who is striking the right chords with the young adults.
Whether you are traveling in the hills or chilling with your friends, these musicians will give you all the right vibes.
© Instagram/When Chai Met Toast
If you love Prateek Kuhad’s music, here are 5 other Indie music artists who are just as good and would keep you tapping your feet throughout the entire bus journey:
1. When Chai Met Toast © Instagram/When Chai Met Toast
The four member boy band sparks little joys with their beautiful and incaptivating compositions like ‘When We Feel Young’ and ‘Khoj’.
The Kochi-based multilingual band has a knack for seizing emotions through their films.
2. Anuj Jain © Instagram/Anuv Jain
I fell in love with his song ‘Alag Aasman’ the moment I heard it. It captures the beauty and struggle of a long distance relationship with the sound of a ukulele as the backdrop.
3. Taba Chake © Instagram/Taba Chake
The music of this guitarist is as serene as the hills he hails from.
Chake is from Arunachal Pradesh and often draws inspiration from the tribal folktales which reflects in his mesmerising music and lyrics.
4. Osho Jain © Instagram/Osho Jain
A singer songwriter from a small town, Indore is one of the most underrated music artists in the industry.
Most of his songs are incredibly relatable and have a deep meaning or message hidden in the words. His song ‘Kya Pata’ speaks of the insecurities we experience in love and friendship.
5. Suzonn © Instagram/Suzonn
Another Indie musician who is undiscovered by many but totally needs to be on your playlist is Suzonn.
I heard one of his songs ‘Sun Lo Na’ on someone’s Instagram Reels and it was the best music discovery I am thankful for. His music and style of singing is so soothing and calming, you’ll listen to him on loop.
Who are some other underrated artists that you know of? Keep adding them to the list and let the world know about their talent.

The Indian Premier League is the biggest and toughest T20 league in the world and there’s no debating that. Since its inception in 2008, the tournament has featured some of the biggest stars from all around the world giving their blood and sweat for the coveted title.
The huge success of the tournament has led to many leagues cropping up in different parts of the world but no league has ever come close to matching the popularity of the cash-rich league, primarily because the standard of cricket on display in IPL is far superior than any other league in the world.
Players like David Warner, Chris Gayle, Lasith Malinga, Rashid Khan have left their mark on the tournament over the years, coping with the high demand and pressure which is not everyone’s cup of tea, hence the tournament has seen several top-quality players struggling to make an impression and can be described as big-time flops!
Here are the five cricketers who tasted success in other leagues but were a big flop in the IPL:
1. Aaron Finch © Instagram Aaron Finch
The fact that he leads Australia’s limited-overs squad speaks volumes of the talent he possesses but he has never been a standout performer for any of the IPL franchises he represented over the years.
Finch has played 324 T20 matches, so far, and scored 9718 runs at a solid average of 34,58 but the same can’t be said about his IPL career which never shot off like everyone expected. Regarded as one of the most destructive batsmen in world cricket, Finch has played 87 IPL matches, scoring 2005 runs.
Many would argue that how can someone with over 2000 runs can be called a flop, but the fact that he averages 25.70 in the IPL while his overall T20 average stands at 34.58 is more than enough to suggest that he has been a big disappointment and probably the reason why he found no buyers in the auction earlier this year.
2. Eoin Morgan © Instagram Eoin Morgan
England’s World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan is another big name to find a place in the list.
Morgan, who leads two-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders, is one of the most respected T20 players around the world but his IPL performance doesn't justify his high status in the world of cricket.
In 73 IPL appearances, the left-handed batsman has scored 1364 runs at a below-par average of less than 25. While he has been a brilliant leader for England, he has failed to show the same result with KKR.
3. Colin Munro © Instagram Colin Munro
Colin Munro is another fire-power batsman who has failed to deliver in IPL, scoring only 177 runs from 13 matches.
Apart from IPL, Munro has delivered in almost every other league he has played in be it the Caribbean Premier League or Pakistan Super League or Big Bash League.
He has scored over 7000 runs in his T20 career at an impressive strike rate of over 144.
4. Ryan ten Doeschate © Reuters
He was one of the first players from one of the associate nations to feature in the IPL. He played in the IPL for five consecutive years between 2011 and 2015 but always struggled for game time.
With immense competition within the squad he could never make it big and played only 29 matches, scoring 326 runs and picking up two wickets.
He continues to be a great hit in other leagues scoring 7565 runs and picking up 114 wickets.
5. Daren Sammy © Reuters
The man who guided the West Indies to not one but two T20 World Cups, was another big ticket player to flop in the IPL. He featured in 22 IPL games and could only manage 295 runs along with 11 wickets.
He was successful in the PSL where he guided Peshawar Zalmi to three finals and won the title once.

On Sunday evening Battlegrounds Mobile India was found sending personal data or at least communicating with servers in China. The game’s app was found sending and receiving data from China Mobile Communications servers in Beijing, China. The servers are owned by China Mobile Limited, a company partly owned by the Communist Party of China.
© Facebook_MLekhiBJP
The issue was brought to BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi’s notice to which she responded “Damn! Is this correct, will ask @GoI_MeitY to look into it.” The game was also found sending data to Tencent-run Proxima Beta in Hong Kong and Microsoft Azure servers located in the US, Mumbai and Moscow. Having said that, after running the game and using a data scraping app, it seems like Krafton may have fixed the issue for now as there were no traces of any data being sent to the aforementioned servers with the exception of Proxima Beta.
Damn ! Is this correct, will ask @GoI_MeitY to look into it . https://t.co/JBMZ5jdpUN
— Meenakashi Lekhi (@M_Lekhi) June 20, 2021
It is worth pointing out that the Indian Government banned PUBG Mobile last year for similar practises as the app was found sharing data with servers in China. The game was banned along with 117 other Chinese apps for national security reasons and to protect the privacy of Indian citizens.
© MensXP_Akshay Bhalla
It could be possible that Battlegrounds Mobile India can get into trouble again if the game doesn’t follow the prescribed rules by MeitY. Krafton also told IGN India that the company is aware of the data sharing incident and is currently “working to rectify this.”
Battlegrounds Mobile India’s fate is currently unknown as the game continues to be accessible in India for now.

If you're a fan of the Fast and the Furious movie franchise, you've got to remember the first few movies in the series and how they set the pace for what was to come later.
© Universal Pictures
The series blasted off with pure exciting street racing content, with the first two movies featuring Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto right at the center of the action along with his best buddy, late actor Paul Walker's Brian O'Conner.
In comparison to what it is about now, the initial releases of the franchise were all about winning the race, beating the bad guy, and getting the girl.
© Universal Pictures
Well, one thing was at the center of it all. A beautiful, powerful nitrous oxide-fitted fast car that would get the job done! And well, the blue-eyed star of the show, Paul Walker, had to have the best pick.
Yes, the actor's on-screen character Brian O'Conner drove a bright orange-colored 1994 Toyota Supra, the beauty of which took every viewer's breath away.
© Universal Pictures
We've got news for you, though. A lucky buyer just purchased it for life.
The iconic car, which was used in The Fast and the Furious movie (2001) as well the 2 Fast 2 Furious in 2003, has been sold for a record-breaking price of Rs 4 crores ($550,000) via the Barrett-Jackson market place in the United States.

“Get your face a gift, grow a beard”
“Beards are the new six pack”
“Life is better with a beard”
And the list goes on!
To shave or not to shave has been debated by grooming enthusiasts since forever. Luckily for us, B-town’s dapper brothers Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are giving us some clarity on the subject.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Shahid Kapoor (@shahidkapoor)
First things first, it was such a delight to see their adorable brotherly banter on screen! From Shahid taking a dig at Ishaan’s stubble, to Ishaan retaliating with “Aapki bhi double chin chhup jaati hogi na daadhi se”, this short video was all things refreshing.
Getting back to the question at hand – Clean Shave Vs Beards
While Shahid Kapoor vouches for the intense Kabir Singh beard, Ishaan Khatter fancies his clean-shaven Jab We Met look.
Gillette
Truth be told, the best style for you is the one which makes you feel the most confident. It should bring out the essence of the phase of life you’re in.
So whether it is a goatee, French beard or a classic clean shave you have in mind – Shahid & Ishaan have the tools for you. Yes, we’re talking about Gillette – especially its latest King Camp Gillette (KCG) range.
Now if you’re wondering what’s KCG, we’ve got news. Gillette has dedicated and named its latest grooming range after its founder King Camp Gillette.
This collection packs a range of impressive products including a Beard and Face wash, Neck Razors, Beard Balm, Transparent Shave Gel, Beard Oil, and Beard Trimmer.
Gillette
The video features Shahid Kapoor using the King C Gillette trimmer. This handsome looking device glides through every skin texture, giving you the perfect look! And when the king of cool beards (Kabir Singh, Haider, Shaandaar, need I say more?) gives his approval to a beard groomer, we know it's legit.
So if you’re a grooming enthusiast, don’t think twice and add Gillette’s iconic new King C Gillette collection to your stash. It’s the perfect set of tools to rehash your facial hair – Shahid & Ishaan agree.

Those who don’t understand homosexuality are often critical, judgemnetal and insensitive towards queer people. However, even the most supportive friends and colleagues can be inappropriate with their words too.
Whether you mean well or are simply trying to understand your gay friends better, there is a right way to put across your questions to queer people.
© Lloyd-Levitan Productions
We have all been in one of those awkward situations where we have asked an inappropriate question or said something completely uncomfortable to the gay men in our life. Although it's probably not new for them since they hear these things too often from their family, relatives and friends, we could work on it and be more considerate about how we say things.
© Not a Real Company Productions
Here are 5 things your gay friends and colleagues are sick of hearing and things you should refrain from uttering at all cost. Because, you love them:
1. When Did You Turn Gay? © Amazon Prime
No one just 'turns' gay and you should know better than that.
Instead, one can ask when did they discover that they were gay and how did they come out, given that you are close to the person and they are comfortable sharing that information with you.
2. You Don’t Look Gay © John Wells Productions
Okay, the lack of representation of the queer comminuty and Bollywood movies stereotyping gay men with floral shirts, weird makeup and the gajagamini walk are to be blamed for this.
There is no specific way gay men 'look'. So, keep this outdated observation to yourself, please.
3. So, Who Is The 'Man' In The Relationship? © KoMut Entertainment
Or, who brings flowers on the date? Or, who is the 'wife'?
It’s actually pretty offensive to put heteronormative labels and ask somehting which basically translates to ‘which one of you is the girl’ whenever you meet a gay couple.
Just, don’t.
4. Give Me Some Fashion Advice, Since You Are Gay © 20th Century Fox Television
Not all gay men love fashion as they show in the movies and would not jump on every chance they get to give you a makeover.
You can ask for a style tip if you think his dress sense is great, but adding ‘because you are gay’ only comes across as you stereotyping.
5. Hey, I Am Straight So Don’t Fall For Me! © Not a Real Company Productions
That is insulting on so many levels.
First of all, gay men don’t just get attracted to anything in pants. And, after you say this cringeworthy line, rest assured that he would never be into you.
