Singer Shaan has impressed us with his extraordinary singing skills for over a decade now.
Some of his iconic music compositions include Dus Bahane, Ladki Kyun, Chand Sifarish and several other humble songs including the legendary Tanha Dil.
Shaan has often been vocal about the kind of music that's made in today's time. In a recent video, he had a take on Yo Yo Honey Singh as well. The singer went onto admit that when he met Honey, he praised Shaan's music, but the latter was unable to recognise him as 'he'd gained a lot of weight.'

He also revealed that the rapper came to him full of admiration and said, "Shaan sir, I've been following you...' I said 'thank you'."
However, Shaan didn't recognise him, and when he did, he went to him and admitted that he forgot who he was, which made Honey a little upset.
"I felt like such an idiot. Why did I have to go back and tell him that I didn't recognise him?," Shaan added.

Yuvraj Singh said he expected to be given the charge of Team India for the inaugural World T20 in South Africa but MS Dhoni a relative newcomer to the international circuit -- was preferred to him.
Reacting to the decision, Yuvraj Singh said he respected the selectors' call like any perfect team man would and focused on helping the team in whatever manner he could.
“So, basically, India had lost the 50-over World Cup, right? I mean there was quite a turmoil in Indian cricket and then there was a two-month tour of England and there was also a month tour in between with South Africa and Ireland. And then there was a month of T20 World Cup so there were like four months away from home," Yuvraj said on the 22 Yarns podcast.
“So probably the seniors thought that they needed a break and obviously, nobody took the T20 World Cup seriously. I was expecting to captain India in the T20 World Cup and then it was announced MS Dhoni will be the captain.
© Reuters
“Yes, obviously, whoever becomes captain you got to support that guy whether it was Rahul, whether it was [Sourav] Ganguly, whoever in the future, end of the day you want to be a team man and that’s how I was,” Yuvraj added.
Throughout their playing careers, Yuvraj and Dhoni were involved in numerous match-defining partnerships, giving Indian fans countless memories to cherish.
However, questions have been raised over their camaraderie -- especially after Yuvraj's father Yograj Singh had alleged that Dhoni and Virat Kohli 'backstabbed' his son. Yograj, in the same interview, had even rounded up the then selectors for betraying his son.
© Reuters
“Along with these two (Dhoni and Kohli), I would say that even the selectors betrayed him. I had met Ravi recently. He asked me for a photograph. I called him and pointed out that all great players should get a send-off based on their performances,” Yograj had alleged in an interview with News24.
Known for having not-so-friendly thoughts about Dhoni, Yograj misses no chance of pulling the former India skipper down.
In 2019, while urging Ambati Rayudu to come out of retirement, Yograj had said: "Rayudu, my son you took the decision in haste. Come out of retirement and show them what you are capable of. People like MS Dhoni will not remain forever, filth like these will not remain forever" .
WTF?
Is MS Dhoni responsible for Raydu's exit or retirement?
What Dhoni done wrong with him??
This man is always embarassing his son Yuvraj Singh who always admire Dhoni.
Shame on you Yograj Singh. pic.twitter.com/NlshYiXubO

— Aithey. (@KalakondaPranay) June 10, 2021Even Yuvraj, in the past, had said that he didn't get as much support from Dhoni and his successor Virat Kohli as he did under Sourav Ganguly.
“I have more memories of time under Sourav because of the support he gave me. I didn’t have that kind of support from Mahi and Virat (Kohli)," Yuvraj Singh had said in an interview with Sportstar.

Playing under Dhoni, Yuvraj played a key role as India went on to become the first-ever world champions in the shortest format, beating arch-rivals Pakistan by five runs in a thrilling final.

We all love the idea of a perfect family but unless you’re part of a Suraj Barjatya movie, you know the idea is a bit far-fetched.
With Father’s Day just around the corner, I got to thinking how not everyone has that “picture perfect” relationship with their dads. I know I don’t.
Like many others, I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs with my father and I know there are quite a few of you who feel the same way.
So here are five things that you’ll relate to if your relationship with your father is full of love as well as flaws.
1. Father’s Day Is Awkward When someone is trying to rebuild their relationship with their father, Father’s Day celebrations and posts may seem like salt in the wound. More so, when your relationship isn’t in the best space, celebrating Father’s Day with your dad can seem a little daunting to say the least.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1759__
2. Hugs, You Want Them, You Need Them! What is it about Indian dads and distance? Just try giving your dad a casual morning hug and you’ll feel the discomfort and awkwardness that I am talking about. Be it emotional or physical, intimacy with fathers is something I’ve only seen in Bollywood movies. P.S. If you do have that kind of intimacy in real life too, be grateful.
© Giphy
3. Gifts Talk Louder Than WordsJust because most fathers have trouble putting their feelings into words, doesn’t mean they don’t love us. It simply means they make their love known through other ways, like thoughtful actions and gifts.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1659__
This can be confusing because gifting is mostly seen as a materialistic custom but remember that different people have different ways of showing affection. Everyone has their own love language.
4. Emotional Conversations Need StrategisingAvoiding difficult emotions and conversations is a natural instinct for most of us. It comes from generations of conditioning and our fathers aren’t immune to that. Even though these things can be difficult, it’s important to have such conversations, be it with our fathers or anyone else.
© Giphy
5. Physical Distance = Emotional Distance Lastly, if you’re someone who doesn’t live with your dad, it’s going to be even more difficult to develop a tight relationship with him. But hey, don’t give up, teach him how to facetime and stay in touch.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1760__
Happy Father’s Day! In the end, we would just like to add that it’s okay to not have a great relationship with your father. Everyone has their fair share of struggles so this Father’s Day, celebrate your own unique, imperfect relationship with your dad!

Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Alphabet and Google, was once a humble, nerdy engineering student at IIT Kharagpur who went by the name Pichai Sundararajan.
He studied metallurgical engineering in the most prestigious engineering college in India and made his name in the global tech industry.
But much before he took over the tech giant, he was a regular student who saw a computer for the first time in his college.
© Instagram/Sundar Pichai
It might be hard to believe but Pichai bunked classes, played cricket and had a bowl of maggi late at night just like any other engineering student. Here are some other interesting and rare facts and stories about Sundar Pichai from his IIT days that prove he was like any other engineering student. Disclaimer: these funny throwback stories might make you miss your college life terribly.
© Twitter
He thought ‘abey saley’ was a legit way to call peoplePichai’s mother tongue was Tamil and he struggled with Hindi when he started college at Kharagpur. He said that he had learned Hindi in school but never spoke much in his life. He started to learn and grasp some words by listening to how people are speaking in college. He admitted that because of this, he thought ‘abey saley’ was a friendly greeting and an acceptable way to address people.
© Twitter
He accidently shut down his college messSpeaking of his struggle with the Hindi language and his misconceptions about calling out to people with abey saley, it actually ended up landing him in trouble. He revealed that he unintentionally offended the mess guy by yelling abey saley at him and as a result, they shut the mess. Pichai said. “The folks at the mess were quite upset and temporarily closed down the mess,”. “It didn't make me very popular," he added.
© Twitter
He met his wife in the collegePichai found love in the narrow corridors and dingy classroom of his college. He met his wife Anjali Pichai in IIT where she was his classmate. He confessed his love in the final year of their engineering and had a long distance relationship as he moved to the USA for higher studies and Anjali was in India. At the time, Pichai had no money so they couldn’t for months. After they both got a job in the USA, they got married.
© Twitter
He was a shy student with ‘big handwriting’His professor from IIT Indranil Manna remembers him as a “shy, quiet, but extremely intelligent” in class. Manna was a mentor for his B.Tech thesis and has kept a copy of his work after all these years. Also, he vividly remembers his “big handwriting”. As they say, people who think fast do not have the best handwriting. Seems like it’s true in Pichai’s case.
© Twitter
He was ragged by his seniors Although the colleges are quite strict about ragging now and have policies in place against any kind of harassment, this was not the case about 25 years ago when Pichai was a student. He spoke about how his parents were scared about him getting ragged like any Indian parents when he left for college and revealed that he was in fact ragged by his seniors a little bit, but all in good spirits. He said “I am glad it’s much better now’.
© Twitter
All these stories are testimonies that he was like any other engineering undergraduate and that the student life is the same for everyone regardless of the course, college or the caliber of the student. Except for students attending online classes due to the pandemic, of course. Poor kids!

There's no stigma when an older man is in love with a younger woman, but if the age gap is significant, it raises more eyebrows than necessary.
However, some celebrities are breaking the stereotypes and normalising this stigma by speaking their mind on the matter.

In 2018, Milind Soman married Ankita Konwar.
Soman was 52 at the time he married her, and Konwar was 26. The couple has often been trolled for the age gap, but they always took it in their stride.
The duo is happily married and never let the stigma affect their companionship, proudly flaunting their relationship on social media.
© Instagram/Ankita Konwar
Recently, Ankita hosted an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram. She was asked several questions, right from her professional to personal life.
A fan also asked her about her future plans of having kids. To this, she said, "we are planned family, next."
© Instagram/Ankita Konwar
Another fan questioned her, "How did you tackle/ manage this Indian stereotype of 'don't marry an older man?'" To this, Ankita responded, saying that she has always done what makes her happy.
Adding to this, she said, "Anything that's not common in a society, people usually like to talk about it. And it's not just limited to India. We, as a species, have a tendency to get weird about the unknown, the unexplored, AKA fear. A survival skill. And sometimes we are not conscious enough to distinguish between the utility and the waste of that skill."
Another fan asked "Any relationship advice to keep yourself and your partner happy?? You n Milind sir are couple goals."
© Instagram/Ankita Konwar
Her response was "every relationship is different, but some things remain the same. Open communication, trust, and respect are the key to loads of love, and it conquers all."
© Instagram/Ankita Konwar
Milind and Ankita celebrated three years of being married in April.
Milind took to Instagram and captioned the post, "3 years!!! Happy anniversary @ankita_earthy. Still seems like yesterday this is the smile that warms my heart, this is the sweetheart that makes me smile.." The couple got married after dating for 5 years.
What is your take on the stigma in our society? Let us know in the comments section below.

The Family Man 2 has quickly become everyone’s favourite show to binge on at the moment. With fans waxing lyrical over the entire cast’s performance, Manoj Bajpai especially has received widespread applause from the audiences. His gritty and realistic portrayal of Srikant Tiwari, a Senior Officer with the NIA (National Investigation Agency), has left fans awestruck.
One scene in particular has been doing the rounds on the internet.
Dhandvat Pranam @BajpayeeManoj 🙏👏❤️
The craft of acting you have displayed is inimitable 👏👏
The whole cast of #Familyman2 deserves a standing ovation🙏🙏#Familyman2 #TheFamilyManSeason2 #ManojBajpayee pic.twitter.com/5TPg99SwnY
— ‘Kashyap’ Arnob Das. (@ArnobDa87872682) June 4, 2021
*spoiler alert*
In this scene we see Srikant Tiwari, devastated by the death of his colleague Milind, making his way out from the crime scene. With police sirens silhouetting his face, his expressions give away his pain and sorrow. He reaches for his phone and calls his wife, seeking comfort perhaps. Hearing muffled noises from his end, Srikant’s wife concernedly asks him what had happened. However, he withdraws his moment of vulnerability and puts on a stoic façade, and responds, “Nothing, baad mei phone karta hoon”. Despite cutting the call, his eyes continue welling up and he chooses to grieve the death of his colleague alone. What inspires men to such degrees of emotional isolation?
© Amazon Prime Video
Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota?A lot of us related to this scene because this is exactly how we process emotions. By shutting down when the waterworks begin. By the time we turned 12 we’d already been subjected to endless tirades on ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’ and ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, that it seemed less of an obligation and more of a commandment. It’s a fate that men across identities resign to for the rest of their lives.
© Amazon Prime Video
False MasculinityHard as it might be to accept, but society pulled a fast one on us. We’ve been led to believe that our emotions are best limited to the ones that flex our limbs. Think about it, by trying to portray ourselves as more ‘masculine’ we’ve pigeon-holed ourselves to an extremely limited experience of life itself. Think about all the moments where we’ve had to arrest our tears lest they left our eyes. The cautious blinking, the pre-emptive sniffling and then the frantic escape to an isolated corner, just to ensure we’re not caught being ‘vulnerable’.
© Amazon Prime Video
It’s Okay, To Not Be OkayThe impact of emotional isolation on the quality of our lives is too adverse to not be addressed. The fact that we’re always expected to be ‘stoic’, ‘strong’, that is, emotionally neutral blunts our emotional range in the long term. Our inability to properly regulate feelings of sadness and grief can lead to anxiety and depression, among other possible problems. More often than not, these feelings of grief can transform into uncontrollable rage and angst, before we even realise it.
Srikant Tiwari is a great character because he is real, raw and relatable. He is everyone who had to shut down before vulnerability hit. And Manage Bajpai excels at the role. No one can live as an island. Men, it’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to be vulnerable. It’s okay to reach out for help. Societal expectations can change, and so can you.

After more than a month since Sushil Kumar was involved in a brawl with fellow wrestler Sagar Rana at the Chhatrasal Stadium, which led to the death of the latter due to severe injuries, eye-witness and another victim of the Olympian’s relentless beatdown, Sonu Mahal was finally able to narrate what happened on that day.
In an exclusive interview with Aaj Tak, Sonu, who was the other person to get beaten up alongside Rana, expressed that Kumar was extremely angry on May 4 and 5 after a former Chatrasal coach, Virendra opened his own academy in Nangloi, and Rana helped him by taking 50-60 wrestlers with him to the new institution.

— Rahul Rawat (@rawatrahul9) May 27, 2021
Sonu added that the attack with the stick was simply the final chapter of all the crimes the two-time Olympic medallist had committed while adding that he had also kidnapped and held hostage five individuals. Later, Kumar had to release one of the hostages after his wife called the police.
According to the eyewitness, Kumar was practically hunting for Rana and was not going to stop until he got his hands on the junior wrestler. In order to get information on Rana's whereabouts, Kumar and his thugs kidnapped two people Amit and Ravindra, and thrashed them to know Rana’s address.

— Rahul Rawat (@rawatrahul9) May 23, 2021
They would then go and hold Rana hostage, beat him up with sticks, while leaving him on the floor, bloodied and breathing his last.
One of the biggest revelations made by Sonu was that Kumar’s gang had kidnapped Rana’s friend Bhagat Singh, which led to his wife calling the police. Once Sushil learned about the involvement of the local authorities, he made Bharat video-call his wife and forced him to tell her that he was fine and that he wasn’t held hostage.

However, the wife wasn’t convinced and called the police once again. It was only after this second call that Sushil was forced to let Bharat go.
Once the news of Rana’s death went public, Kumar ran away from his house and continued to dodge the crime branch for over two weeks until he was finally arrested on a highway, and has since been in jail.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finally decided to move on from their mundane, text-based Twitter updates to providing high-quality video and digital graphic content through their social media profiles and it is the least to say that the fans have appreciated this strategy truly.
In the latest video shared by the Indian cricket board, the Men in Blue can be seen in their first team practice session after completing a three-day mandatory quarantine in their respective rooms and reassembling at the Ageas Bowl cricket ground in Southampton - the venue where the inaugural World Test Championship final will take place.
We have had our first group training session and the intensity was high #TeamIndia's 🇮🇳 preparations are on in full swing for the #WTC21 Final pic.twitter.com/MkHwh5wAYp
— BCCI (@BCCI) June 10, 2021
The compilation shows some of the biggest names of the Indian cricket fraternity, like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Shami, among others, completely in their element and gearing up for arguably the most important one-off Test match of their lives.
However, with the background music and the slow-motion cuts of our bowlers taking their run-up, Pant’s iconic single-hand sixes in the nets, and close-up shots of the skipper have the followers of the squad ask whether it was a practice session video or a trailer for the next Avengers movie.
