‘Ise Minister Kisne Banaya?’ Pak Minister’s Hatred For India Turns Him Into Ordinary Troll

The group stage is still not over but India’s campaign in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2021 has come to a disappointing end already. For the first time in nine years, the Men In Blue have failed to make it to the knockout stage of an ICC event, shattering the dream of billions who wanted to see Virat Kohli end his T20 captaincy tenure on a high by winning his first major title. But sadly, this tournament didn’t go India’s way.

In contrast to India’s journey, our arch-rivals Pakistan have played some phenomenal cricket and reached the last-four without losing a single game. In fact, they are the only unbeaten side in the tournament and many think they are one of the favourites to even lift the trophy.

For a team that came into the tournament ill-prepared after New Zealand and England called off their tour to Pakistan due to security concerns, their performance has been exemplary.

It’s a pity that instead of celebrating their side’s unbelievable run in the competition, some people in Pakistan are more interested in trolling Kohli and his men. What’s more disgusting is that their Science and Technology Minister Fawad Hussain Chaudhary, instead of instilling sense among their public, is leading the way and provoking them to target the Indian team and its players.

Unless you are a Pakistani minister, it’s hard to imagine a political leader sharing a meme through his official Twitter handle, trolling a neighbouring country.

On the day of India’s must-win encounter against Afghanistan, the Pak minister shared a meme which read: “India can still reach in semifinals if they send fake emails and New Zealand leaves UAE due to security issues.”

This was not all. After India were knocked out of the T20 World Cup on Sunday, the Pak minister shared a forwarded message on the micro-blogging site in order to troll the Indian team. His tweet was in reference to India’s previous group match against Scotland which they won comprehensively by eight wickets inside seven overs, thus improving their net run rate considerably.

“BIG NEWS FOR INDIA If they finish the match in 3 overs against Namibia tomorrow, they can reach airport early. (As Rcvd) #Endia #ICCT20WorldCup,” he tweeted after India were knocked out of the T20 World Cup on Sunday.

His comments didn’t go down well with fans across both countries and they took him to the cleaners and exposed his hatred.

Sir aap information minister hain, funny content creator/memer nahi jo is level par tweet karein gae. Agar Information Minister ka kaam memes share karna hai, toh mujhay bana dain Info Minister. Aisi class ki memes hongi aapki soch hai.

By then again, it doesn’t surprise us anymore. In the past few weeks, Pakistani political leaders have shown how low they can stoop. After Pakistan defeated India for the first time in World Cup history, we saw how their interior minister Sheikh Rasheed gave a shameful speech and described the win as the “victory of Islam”.

If that wasn’t all, one of the bowling legends Waqar Younis showed his cheap mentality when he said that Mohammad Rizwan offering “namaz in front of Hindus was the most satisfying thing” for him. More than their side’s 10-wicket win in their opening encounter.

Only undefeated team in the #T20WorldCup
Well played, #Pak
Go well in the semis. Only Asian team in the final four. Try to keep the trophy in the subcontinent, neighbours

— Aakash Chopra (@cricketaakash) November 7, 2021

Keeping the rivalry aside, fans in India have been congratulating Pakistan and wishing them luck for the knock-out stage of the tournament.

But political leaders in Pakistan like Rasheed and Chaudhary have made a mockery of themselves in front of the whole world by mixing sports with religion and politics.
