Actor Kangana Ranaut is at it again. Only she can be honoured with a civilian award and less than two days later face the burning ire of Indians who are angry at her choice of words and thoughts. She recently made a statement about the country and her comments around India’s freedom have not gone down well with anyone in the nation. She mentioned that India’s true freedom came in 2014 and what we got back in 1947 was just mere ‘bheek’.

The RSS could never accept the fact that their British masters were forced to leave in 1947. Their slavery knew no bounds. No wonder they didn't hoist the tricolour for half a century.

Soon after the clip got viral on the internet, Indians united in fury to protest against her and some even called upon the President to cancel her Padma Shri.

Kangana must be booked against Sedition and Treason charges.

In fact, a formal complaint has now been filed against the actor by Preethi Menon, the national executive chairman of the Aam Admi Party.

While Kangana is not the one who minces her opinion or her words, she certainly went too far in degrading the fight for independence and reducing it down to a mere ‘bheek’. Indians are quite angry and it looks like this is not going down any soon.
