It’s been 13 years since the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai brought the entire nation down to its knees, but the horrific visuals of the cowardly attack by a group of Pakistani terrorists are still fresh in the hearts of each and every Indian.
It’s hard to forget the images of the carnage the brutal terrorists from the neighbouring country unleashed at various iconic spots in India’s financial capital on 26 November 2008.

The whole country withered in pain and agony as the terrorists killed 166 people, including foreigners.
Several security personnel also attained martyrdom in the line of duty that day.
Every year on this day, the whole country comes together and pays tribute to the victims of the horrific terror attacks.
Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli also took to the micro-blogging site and sympathised with the families that lost their loved ones.

On the day of the attack, the security forces were able to eliminate nine terrorists while one named Ajmal Kasab was caught alive who revealed the role Pakistan played in the attack during the investigation.
After trial, he was handed a death sentence and was hanged at Pune’s Yerawada central prison on November 12, 2017. However, the masterminds of the attacks are still roaming freely, reportedly, in Pakistan.
