Soon You Will Be Able To Adopt A Tiger All Thanks To Delhi Zoos New Scheme So Get Ready

Yes, dogs and cats are cool but if you've ever thought of having a tiger as a pet, there's some good news for you.

The National Zoological Park in New Delhi is looking into the possibility of launching an animal adoption scheme for a lot of their animals.

This isn't a first though, as several zoos across the country have launched a similar scheme where citizens have the chance to adopt an animal.

So, if you're interested in ‘adopting' an animal, here's what you need to know – a person can finalize the ‘adoption' after paying a sum fixed by the zoo authorities. This money will then be used by the zoo to cover various expenses of the animal, including food and medicine.

Acknowledging the adoption and to appreciate this gesture, the person's name will be displayed on the cage, and they will receive an official adoption certificate along with free entry to the zoo for a whole year.

Moreover, the adopter will also be able to celebrate birthdays of the animals in the zoo. Isn't it so cool?

Even though this scheme would be valid on all animals, it is usually set up for large animals like tigers, lions and elephants, since they require the maximum expenditure.

So, which animal would you want to ‘adopt'?
