Shahid Kapoor has reached peak Shahid (Kapoor) style. What we mean is that Mr. Kapoor's style is set in stone now. It's legit, inspirational and fool-proof. And unlike his contemporaries and most of the younger B-town boys trying to push sartorial boundaries with the number of buttons left open in a basic-ass shirt — Shahid Kapoor's style doesn't change when he hops from one stylist to another. Which it seems is a huge problem in Bollywood right now, and needs to be addressed at a different time. Moving on swiftly, let's take a minute or two to look at Shahid Kapoor's IIFA appearances and the exact same pair of dress shoes the A-list actor repeated for two of his looks.

The first outfit is a charcoal Anuj Madan suit with a stark black patch, that immediately transforms it from a basic-ass number to a fashion-ey suit reserved for people who have the body and the balls to pull it off. Shahid finished off the IIFA Best Actor award-winning look with his usual hair and groomed-to-perfection beard, a black button-down and a pair of sleek, black dress shoes whose shine could be seen from outer space. The shoes fit perfectly here and are your perfect celebrity-approved lesson in formal dressing. Because every self-respecting man should own a pair of dress shoes in 2017!

The second outfit is a pair of custom-made neo-Indian kurta-pyjama set by The Maroon Suit that is every minimalist's dream. The length of the pants are just right and so is the length of the oh-so-modern kurta. But what's interesting is that stylist and long-time Shahid collaborator went with the same shoes for this look too. Reason? 1) Comfort 2) Why not? 3) Nothing beats an all-black-everything look 3) Dress shoes always have a sharp impact when worn right! This isn't your regular kurta situation and requires a strong sense of self to pull off. Just like Mr. Kapoor is doing, right here! Also, just cause we love you guys here's a pair of dress shoes (priced at INR 1499) that you need to own, love and wear right now…
