After a long wait, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif finally made their relationship official by exchanging wedding vows on December 9 in Rajasthan. The much-in-love couple got hitched in the presence of their families and friends. After sealing the deal, Vicky and Katrina posted a few stunning pictures from their traditional wedding ceremony on Instagram and shared the special news with fans. 

After tying the knot, Vicky and Katrina went to an undisclosed location to spend some quality time together. On Tuesday (14 December), they finally returned to Mumbai where they'll be hosting a grand reception for their industry friends and colleagues.

Well, the venue, date and other details related to their wedding reception are out now. Reportedly, the newlyweds are planning to host a reception in Mumbai next week despite the Omicron threat. During the event, all the protocols and rules set by BMC will be followed. 

Talking about the reception, a source told BollywoodLife, "They have decided to host the reception mostly in JW Marriott on December 20. Katrina and Vicky want to get back to work but before that, they want to finish all their wedding festivities and so they have decided on this date. Also, Christmas is largely celebrated by Katrina Kaif and the couple has planned to celebrate it together this time and so they want to keep the reception before Christmas".

The newly-married couple will reportedly invite almost everyone from the film industry. Revealing a few names from the guestlist, the source further added that Vicky and Katrina have already sent invitations to Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan among other celebrities to block their dates for the reception. Every guest will have to undergo an RT PCR test and get a negative report to be a part of the reception as Mumbai is currently under Omicron threat.

Vicky and Katrina, who were reportedly dating each other since 2019, are in the news continuously due to the buzz around their wedding. Recently, there were reports that the lovebirds have sold the streaming rights of their grand wedding to a streaming giant for a huge amount of Rs 80 crore.
