After a very long wait, Ayan Mukerji's much-hyped film Brahmastra is finally ready to hit the screens. On Wednesday, the makers launched the motion poster introducing Ranbir Kapoor's character, Shiva, at a grand event in Delhi and announced that the film will release on September 9, 2022. Fans are loving the motion poster of the movie, featuring Alia Bhatt opposite Ranbir.

Both of them attended the poster launch event and their camaraderie was one of the highlights of the evening. Ranbir openly flirted with Alia who looked completely smitten by him. They also answered some fans' questions. One of them was about the Tamasha actor's wedding date.
Ranbir read out a question addressed to him, "When will you marry Alia or someone else?"

He then asked Alia, "Humari kab hogi (When will ours happen)?"
She answered, “Why are you asking me?”, Ranbir pointed at Ayan and added in a witty way, “I am asking him, humari kab hogi (when will ours happen)?” The director then replied, “Aaj ke liye ek hi date kaafi hai (The announcement of one date is enough for today), Brahmastra ki release date. Let’s wait”.
For the unversed, Ranbir and Alia have been dating each other since 2017 and are expected to exchange wedding vows next year in a close-knit affair in Mumbai. Reportedly, the wedding venue will most probably be Taj Lands End. However, confirmation is still awaited.
On the film front, besides Brahmastra, Ranbir has various interesting films in his kitty like Shamshera, Luv Ranjan's untitled next, and Sanjay Reddy Vanga's Animal. While Alia's lineup includes SS Rajamouli's pan-India project RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Darlings, and Jee Le Zara.
