Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have always been private about their relationship. Ranbir has been in a relationship with Alia since 2017, and they have even bonded with each other’s families. Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni are quite fond of Alia and often shower her Instagram posts with love. Ranbir is also often seen chilling with Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt and mother Soni Razdan.

They earlier used to hardly indulge in any sort of public display of affection but yesterday at the promotion of their upcoming movie Brahmastra, we got to see a different side of their relationship. They flirted with each other openly and even addressed the question of their marriage. A fan asked Ranbir, “When will you marry Alia or someone else?” and to which, Ranbir said, “Well, haven’t we seen a lot of people getting married in the last one year? I think we should be happy with that. Humari kab hogi (When will ours happen)?” Alia also dodged the question and Ranbir pointed out to Ayan and asked about the release date of  his movies 

At the event, Ranbir also asked Alia about her relationship with the letter ‘R.’ “Why do people keep asking you about your relationship with ‘R’? Ranbir asked. In response to the question, Alia replied, “Truth is that R is my life’s biggest… number 8 hai.” The PDA didn’t stop here as Alia also asked what does the letter A mean to him and he kept teasing her by naming Amitabh Bachchan and Ayan Mukerji.

After the videos started to go viral, people bashed them for using the platform for pulling off a cheap publicity stunt. They weren’t convinced with their chemistry and felt it was fake. One of the users even went on to say that Alia is in a toxic relationship with Ranbir.

Talking about the movie, Brahmastra is the first film of a proposed fantasy trilogy. The first part will revolve around Ranbir’s character Shiva, who discovers that he has the power of fire and a mysterious connection to the all-powerful weapon Brahmastra. Alia will play his ladylove Isha.

The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. Brahmastra is slated for a theatrical release on September 9, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
