For quite some time now, Jacqueline Fernandez is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. 

Ever since her cosy and intimate pictures with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar went viral, Jacqueline has come under public scrutiny. 

While the conman is already in custody for allegedly extorting Rs 200 crore from a businessman’s wife, recently, Enforcement Directorate (ED) interrogated Jacqueline as well as actress Nora Fatehi for alleged connections with him. A few weeks back Jacqueline was also stopped from flying out of India.

Now, a recent report has claimed that besides giving her expensive gifts, Sukesh had also promised Jacqueline that he will produce a mega-budget superhero trilogy starring her in the lead. The female superhero-led trilogy was said to be of Rs 500 crore budget. 

An insider told India Today, “Sukesh knew very well that Jacqueline was looking for work in Bollywood. She wasn’t signing too many films and he used her vulnerability to woo her even more. In one such conversation, he promised her that he would produce India’s first woman superhero project with her that would involve Hollywood VFX artists, and it will be shot on a global scale. He told Jacqueline that she resembled Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie and she deserved a superhero series made around her.”

The insider also added that while Jacqueline didn’t take Sukesh’s word at face value, she was still partially convinced that he meant business. 

He left no stones unturned to lure Jacqueline and even did his homework about how the budget of a film is set in Bollywood and even dropped names of big producers in the Hindi film industry. 

Recently, Jacqueline was asked by ED to submit her bank statements from April 2020 till date. During the interrogation, she had told ED that Sukesh had arranged for a private jet for her to fly to Chennai and that she received, “limited edition perfumes and Veen alkaline water bottles every week.”

Besides this, she was also gifted two pairs of diamond earrings, two Hermes bracelets, three designer bags from Gucci and Chanel, two Gucci outfits for gym wear, a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes and a Mini Cooper. She also said that she later returned the car.
