Kohli Is Earning ‘Cute Daddy’ Points Among Fans For What He Did After Being Captured On Video

The touring Indian team definitely had an impact in Centurion, breaking through South Africa's fortifications and winning the first Test by 113 runs. The players' celebratory spirits erupted on the pitch as soon as the team recorded the historic triumph, and Indian captain Virat Kohli was spotted beaming as well. Kohli's family is accompanying him on his tour of the country of the Proteas, and his little daughter Vamika witnessed the joyous occasion.

The Indian captain could be seen waving to his baby girl in the same light. Kohli could be seen celebrating the victory with raised fists while turning towards his family in the grandstand in one of the videos that went viral on the internet.

The 33-year-old praised KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal for getting the team off to a great start in South Africa. He also praised the team's pace unit, describing Mohammed Shami as one of the top three seamers in the world right now.

He saw that the Men in Blue were off to a great start. Despite the rain on Day 2, the team still managed to win by 113 runs, which is a significant achievement. It's usually a tough venue to play against South Africa (Centurion), but the openers' discipline was outstanding. Winning the toss and batting first in a foreign country is a difficult task. Mayank and KL deserve credit for the manner they set it up, according to Kohli.

When it came to the bowlers, the skipper stated he expected India to score between 300 and 320 runs, and he put his confidence in players like Shami, Bumrah, Siraj, and Ashwin. Kohli had even said it in the locker room. Additionally,  Kohli conceded that Bumrah didn't bowl much in the first inning, allowing SA to score roughly 40 extra runs or else they would have won the match in the first session of the last day otherwise.

Talking about Mohammed Shami who recently surpassed the record for fastest Indian pacer to get 200 Test cricketers, Kohli said that he’s of the best three seamers in the world at the moment. His strong wrist, his seam position, and his ability to hit a length consistently, all these values make him a significant asset for the team.
