Bipasha Basu is one actor who was literally acing Bollywood at a time during the 2000s.

The actress made her debut alongside Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol in the 2001 movie Ajnabee and went on to do very well for herself in the few years ahead.

It was the 2003 movie Jism where she really got the plaudits from critics and fans, where she starred alongside her then-boyfriend John Abraham.

These movies along with films like the cult horror film Raaz really cemented her place as a top actress in the industry.

However, one incident that really shook the internet during her prime years was her reported kiss with Manchester United star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

Now, anyone who is familiar with football or maybe not familiar, Cristiano is one of the all-time greatest footballers in the world.

The incident between Bipasha and Cristiano happened way back in 2007, back when Cristiano had already established himself to be one of the most exciting superstars, with girls going gaga all over him.

As things turn out, Cristiano's charm also seemed to have worked on Bipasha and vice versa.

It was reported that the two had attended an event together and had been casually hanging out at a party later on.

However, it was in the aftermath of that that apparently broke the internet and surprised so many people.

Cristiano and Bipasha were seen kissing, with a photo dropping on the internet soon after.

It was reported that the two stars got 'physical' while partying at a club in Lisbon, Portugal. Later, Bipasha would speak about meeting Cristiano and how both of them even found each other cute.

“Meeting him was a dream come true. After the event, we went out clubbing, and that was simply fantastic. He is so cute, and it was strange when he called me cute … He is a friend now and he has promised me that I will be invited for all his matches,” said Bipasha.

However, this was not it. Bipasha had been dating John around that time and it was reported that he was not very happy with the incident.

As per reports, things got so bad that John contemplated breaking up with Bipasha, however, things got solved later on.

Well, it's been a long time since that with Bipasha and John both being married to someone else.

As for Cristiano, he too has been living with his girlfriend in Manchester and has many kids of his own.

Well, it's all in the past now and both Ronaldo and Bipasha are living happily with the love of their lives.
