'He Did It Better!' Man Outshines Nora With Belly Dance, Proves Flexibility Has No Gender

Fitness is essentially eclectic in nature, in spite of most of us associating gym or sports to it. Dance, since time immemorial, has been one of the truly intrinsic facets of fitness, and needs to be recognized more in the mainstream. Thanks to celebs like Nora Fatehi, that phenomenon has started.

Thanks to Nora's incredible dance numbers, a lot of enthusiasts started taking it up seriously, and some of them even started doing it as a part of their fitness routines. However, there is one gentleman who did something incredible with one of Nora's biggest hits - Kusu Kusu.

Kusu Kusu got viral because of its super complicated belly dance steps, which no one else can perfectly pull off unless they are a trained professional like Nora. However, dancer Ajit Shetty decided to take up this challenge.

He not only made an extremely important statement by proving that flexibility - which is an inherent part of fitness - has no gender, he even invited Nora herself to perform the song with him. Belly dance has been essentially associated with femininity because of the extensive usage of the pelvis and hips, but it's time we move past the gendered barriers, for something as pure as dance. Ajit was successful in doing just that, while entertaining us at the same time.

All we can say is, well done, Ajit! All the very best to all your future endeavours!
